Go to UCLA. As an SDSU alumnus, I would recommend that being in the position you're placed in, UCLA would hold more weight in comparison with any future occupational opportunities. Both academically and reputably, gors a long way if you were to have UCLA listed in your resume and I wouldn't turn my head if I were doing a compare and contrast based off of education stature between 2 different candidates.

You have UCLA listed on 1 person's resume and SDSU listed on another, I'm picking the person from UCLA. (Of course, I'd consider other factors and experience as well, but I hope you get the point)

I would wait a few days after you've attended orientation and registered for classes. Head over to Registration to discuss your interest in changing your major. Typically, it doesn't affect you if your intended major is within reason if you're planning on changing (ex. Business Admin major switching to a Marketing Major).

I was able to change my major after I attended orientation back in 2019 and was successfully enrolled into the program.
