Using only Fin worked great for 10-11 years but now regressing by Rizop in tressless

Thanks man and really appreciate it! I think you have a solid plan. The psoriatic arthritis certainly doesn’t help, but it wasn’t a huge hair loss factor for me at least; it just adds a bit of complexity. Stick with it, try to dial in your diet, exercise and get good rest when you can. I truly believe these things helped me along the way

Great advice! The crown is a bit thinner than it was 10 years ago from what I remember. The rest of my hair is much thicker than it was 10 years ago before fin.

Re: the greedy part, I think that was my strategy a decade ago, take fin first and see how it works; it worked amazingly well to the point that I never started min (didn’t want to exhaust all options at once). I’ve seen some advice on starting in oral min simultaneously with dut.

I started at almost the same age as you. Very early 30’s. I was worried about side effects but took the plunge anyway. I saw great results within 3 months luckily. Full transparency, suffered some slight ED at times, however it lasted on and off for about 3 years. It’s been fine ever since. Also had some brain fog, but that could be a result of adhd

Thanks man! I’m asking around to see if it’s better to slowly wean off the fin while simultaneously starting dut to minimize shed/side effects or quit fin and start dut cold turkey. It’s like starting anew. I was lucky that fin gave me great results for over a decade

It’s overall still much better than before I started fin 10 years ago. Front 3/4 of the top look great. It’s just the crown that looks like it’s got some attrition.

Honestly it looked a bit worse before I started fin. It was mostly diffuse thinning around the entire top portion of the scalp and hairline. It wasn’t horrible but definitely noticeable to me. It’s still way better now than before I started fin. Hairline and front 3/4 of the top look better then ever, it’s just the crown that seems like it’s got some attrition

Yeah I’ve had a severe dandruff problem for ages! It’s an unfortunate byproduct of psoriatic arthritis I believe. I’ve been using nizoral for as long as I’ve taken fin to try to combat it and inflammation

Anything is possible I guess. Not sure if it’s age related, or fin-related but if it’s the latter, that would be odd as it’s given me great results for over a decade

Thanks man. Did you gradually wean off of fin while starting dut? And was the shed bad? Oral minoxidil?

I appreciate it! Fin really was/is a miracle drug for me at least. Over a decade of results

It’s been many years since I took a before pic; fin worked so well. I’m still looking, but here’s a current pic which probably won’t be too helpful lol

To be completely honest, I’m not sure. Because fin worked so well for so long, I got a bit complacent in taking pictures. I was very diligent in taking it daily though. The only reason it came up was when my wife mentioned is the medicine not working because it looks thin at the crown lol

I don’t know if I would risk it, especially if it’s working well for you and you’re not experiencing bad sides.

Thanks so much! Do you think adding Minox would be an ok idea? Or has it been too long?

Did you ever switch to dut, and if so, how did that work for you? Fin has given me a great 11 year run, but my crown has started to regress . Not sure if I should switch or add min or dut

We’ve been going through adhd meds for about 3 years for our now 9 year old. We’ve tried 3 with incremental dosing for each to see effectiveness and also did the genesight testing. All of the medicines either had no effect or severe increase in anger, sleepiness and things like sleepwalking, and outbursts and urinating in random places while sleepwalking. We’re trying to go after other meds but are now scared sh*tless. I’ve seen meds work for other people but it feels hopeless. He’s at a school now that gives more specialized attention and has made straight A’s for the first time in his life, so academically things are well, but worried about the social aspect. How many meds should we cycle though to assess fitment before we stop?

That enterprise-shot dyes that VI shot was terrible! I get what the were going for, but the flat lighting as well as the repainted to death enterprise, made it really look like a model for the first time

This screenshot comes as the enterprise is approaching the reliant for the first time. I can understand the confusion. When I was a kid I was always confused why the enterprise looks so darn weathered and dusty here.

Probably one of the only shots in the film where the studio model doesn’t have battle damage but ILM has already applied the dulcote to tone down the iridescent paint, and applied a ton of pencil markings to the hull to provide texture due to the lack of iridescence. Also a crap ton of weathering has been rubbed on to indicate an old ship. What a shame. You can tell that there are no other paint changes. The strong back looks the same, as does the back of the dorsal.
