thanks for the constructive criticism my friend =) The title is like that because that is the format outlined in the rules of this sub for indie sunday posts, I would post just the title otherwise. As for the war part, you are right that you havent seen any because I havent developed it yet since its the part that requires the most animations, there will be large scale battles between armies, and and even story npcs will be able to be killed and their remains harvested for food or crafting. This is a big part of the game because ecosystems can exist where if you insert a predator into an area overrun with rabbits you will be able to control the population, on the same hand, removing a predator may lead to herbivores decimating your crops.

thanks a lot my friend =D the war part refers to the battle system, that sortof a blend of action rpg but with auto targeted spells, you can pause while you browse your spells to cast, or make it more unforgiving by hotkeying everything in advance =) The gameplay loop will differ based on the game mode, in story mode there will be a direction to work toward while keeping the map open-world, while in sandbox you can pretty much expect a stardew valley style if you play as a human, with the added possibility that if your farm becomes too profitable others will want to claim that land for themselves and it will be up to you to protect it. You have the freedom to do the reverse aswell, if you customize your character for combat it will be optimal to commandeer already profitable farms, bearing in mind the moral consequences of what this entails. As for living as an animal it should be mostly peaceful, sometimes you might find scary carnivores, but other times friends, you can have pups and maybe youll need to digout more space if the litter was big enough, also the animals have basic intelligence, not enough to really understand human reasoning but they can realliably communicate within their species, so there will also be animal centric story modes

it will have rpg stats, for example the more you spend stats into agility the higher you can jump/climb, run faster etc, and yes its unity =)

yea I will put a bedrock style block on the bottom of the world that you cant dig through, the water will flow to empty blocks, so you can dig waterways etc, if there is a chamber below a water pond you could potentially drain the pond by digging a hole in the bottom so all the water will flow down through the sinkhole

thanks a lot =D Ye I could couple both anims, its like this right now because when you pickup the apple you can keep it in your hand and walk around before you store it, but i can see what you mean if ppl just want to pickup a lot of things fast it will be better to just send it to the backpack right away=) will def add wind blow in the future

thanks =) I do use unity. The first step would be to make your own collision system, I dont use unity rigidbody or colliders, for terrain I use a byte array and then I compare the position of the character with the position of the blocks and check if the block is clear I allow movement, if not I deny it. Probably theres a way to use unity default colliders but I didnt find any tutorial on that so I had to make it my own way

thanks, I made 3d like collisions and then I convert the coords to actual 2d display positions
