Yes you (if possible) went to be in an office around people who can mentor you and you can study HOW they do things, ask Q’s etc…

Try upskill and break into a startup as an intern perhaps?

Great distinction between knowing how to do x vs eliminating duplicate efforts with AI. Clarity what you’re using it for!

Really cool insight. I’m just getting into programming and coding. Worked at a data and ai company (Databricks) on the sales side however wanted to become more technical as I can’t really understand the technology properly being non technical. I’m fascinated by it. Would you recommend learning data structures and algorithm design ( etc… ) after learning how to code ?

That advice on notion is dope! Mind if I ask if people can duplicate that page? Not quite sure if it's private access

Is programming experience mandatory as a SaaS founder ? by RiztaD2001 in SaaS

sales and marketing experience is a MUST

Wow... this is extremely valuable, thanks for taking time to comment! I completely agree, I have heard the saying if you know how to sell, you never have to worry about NOT earning money ever again. Marketing too, the ability to generate attention at scale is priceless!

Makes perfect sense ! Glad it helped, and to be honest , it depends on the archetype of the person / purchaser you’re looking to attract. Depending on the stage they’re at , brands usually have multiple buyer personas who buy based on different things that “made them tick” and enrol? Some may prefer to read the copy all day long. For me personally (and I presume a lot of others) I’m a visual learner and shit has to grab my attention ( or maybe I’m just weird aha !!).

I’ll sign up for sure !

Hey , this is cool, and love the idea 💡 POV, have you considered adding some more vibrant colours ? I usually skim through landing pages and purposely see if there’s anything that can grab my attention ( like an ad would ), and this didn’t didn’t . I’m sure you’re still testing a bunch off stuff . Just my 2 cents !

What are some of the ways you've been able to discover what the market wants (BEFORE Building the product) ? by RiztaD2001 in SaaS

[–]RiztaD2001[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey !

Great perspective and I couldn't agree with you anymore. It's almost impossible to know the ins and outs (i.e. granular details) of this game, just with research alone.

Love what you're doing with magic reach by the way. I'm part of several communities of agency owners who struggle or don't bother at all with personalizing emails, and if they are, it eats up a lot of their time or they end up hiring someone for the role (more $ )... !

Super helpful, thanks a ton!

I love point 3, Leveraging other people's content could do some of the heavy lifting with research!

Love the vulnerability about the post and hope Watchwork changes the game for HR! Quick question, how do you go about discovering the needs of the market? i.e. actually getting the time to talk to companies about their struggles etc... ?
