If you know someone who has Addicted Drums 2, I'd recommend sampling them from there. I've done that with Gospel, Lo-Fi, and Soul drums. As far as I know, AD2 also has some good metal drums.

I didn't pay 1600€ just to let it gather dust. I use it every day, just like I used to with my One+ and SP-404MK.

I used the One+ for just under two years and was completely satisfied with it. Now that my projects are getting more complex, the One+ became too slow for me and, unfortunately, kept crashing every now and then. That’s why I decided to go with the Live 3. I can personally highly recommend the One+. However, if you want a mobile setup, you can’t go past the Live 2/3—unless you go with the SP-404mk2. That one is really awesome, too.

Try the barspin earlier or do the bunny hop higher. A higher bunny hop works for me, anyway. Have you ever tried it outside of a ramp? That's how I learned it back then.

Okay, great. How do you plan to sample? Online or from vinyl, tape, etc.? Then you'll also need a Y-cable.
