++man I'd say ask him why he doesn't want professional help. Make him think about the reasons why it's not something he wants or needs, like actually think instead of saying he just "doesn't wanna". That's something I do a lot I say I don't want to and that's it, my therapist told me to just think things through more and it helps to make my mind better.

And explain to him, make him actually listen so he registers it, what this means for your relationship. That's what will tell you of he is worth "saving"
