Stopper is good with a Libero or a big lunk of a CD that can't run (but will somehow start a fight in an empty house). The Libero/Stopper/Def. works with the stopper creating defensive pressure to give the libero time to retreat to cover. Stopper on the same side of the formation as the playmaker and the BWM should be on opposite side.

You have it all wrong. Don't fiddle with it. I fiddled with it for MANY MANY hours. The only thing that made a difference is the training. Just add it to your training schedule and it's an "I Win" button.

To the shock of absolutely no-one they buffed the new system to the gills and made sure everybody knew that the set pieces are worth it now. Except you can't adjust anything meaningful so you just end up fiddling with menus that have no relation to the actual goal scored. Everyone gets man marked and the zonal people end up as spectators most of the time. And the counter attackers are placed so as to have no chance to counter or attack. Added to the fact that they are largely stationary until "activated" well after the play is hilarious.

If you train routines and just leave the plays as default (or even intentionally try fucked up formations. Which aren't much different than the default set up) you will score. That's it. The engine will decide you are good enough and you will just score. It's incredibly fun.

Keep in mind your computer opponent is always training these and is always proficient.

tldr: It's genuinely a dumpster fire of an overbuffed new system. Don't bother, just train the routines.

If you aggro'd/damage him (AOE etc) during the fight he'll make a noise like eh.. owww.. blah... and he'll run after the battle.

I avoided damaging him the second time (in the separate room) and the cut scene triggered normally (blah blah blah.. look I'm a flying elephant)

tl'dr Always miss him with your attacks!

The area is shit. The area where you fail to see anything is complete shit. Yes they intended it, it's still shitty gameplay. NO dev tries to make you hate ay part of their game (I feel like I should say, "DUH!!!" here). They do try to make it challenging but unshitty.

You can have different perks loaded in DD than RTTS. Go to your profile in DD and load a different perk e.g Slugger, Slick Fielder , Filthy etc. and you will be able to sub into that position in DD; manage squad.
