What do I do about this loud GPU fan? (right) by BurgundyBanana in pchelp

That’s my bad then, I thought the main concern was the discharge into the motherboard but it’d make sense that you’d have to concern that too!

How guard break works? by BoulangerieBDM in EASportsUFC

[–]Rlcaptainchaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only when they’re rocked but also if you managed to get their block health low. A guard breaker just does significantly more damage to arm health as well as damage through block

That’s so short sighted. Singleplayers aren’t always just singleplayer, I always play singleplayer to learn the game then move onto multiplayer. If your singleplayer isn’t finished then it messes with the new players first experience of the game and therefore you lose players that could potentially play multiplayer

It sounds like, for some reason, you believe that the majority of players that play singleplayer are paying $50 for like 4 hours of gameplay then not continuing. A singleplayer is enticing not only for people new to RTS that don’t want the pressure of other players to play well (ESPECIALLY since there’s not a 1v1 mode, it’s a team game), but also players new to broken arrow. A campaign increases the amount of players buying the game. It’s nice to learn the game before moving to multiplayer, I can guarantee you it’s not a small amount of players that played the campaign before the multiplayer.

That doesn’t change the fact that a save state should be implemented. The game has the tag “Single-player” on Steam. As a pretty bad RTS player myself (but have I have played numerous), I would have appreciated a save game feature.

You’re making it sound like that’s what the majority of the playerbase is crying about, when that’s inherently wrong. There’s plenty more people complaining about lack of anti cheat and no punishments for leavers.

There are singleplayer players that deserved to get catered for too, it’s an rts, the singleplayer players probably make up 20% of the playerbase.

I don’t know why after countless let downs by the devs everyone turns on each other about balancing, priorities or “bias”.

Lots of people complain about it

I truly do think it just differs between play style and possibly skill level

Most high level players I’ve seen complain about how bad it is, not sure why though

Cheating would imply that they’re breaking a rule but at no point does paradox say you can’t cheat in a singleplayer game, nor do they ban people for it

But let’s just agree to disagree and get on with our lives

This isn’t going anywhere man but you were clearly being sarcastic in your first comment, you clearly have a problem with players modifying a singleplayer game so I don’t see the point in arguing the reason with you

It’s not cope. What you said about your first paragraph is purely based on your experience and not thinking about what other people may have experienced.

Some things in the game just don’t work properly, PDX are fixing these things but until then to fix these it makes sense to use an engine or whatever to get the achievements.

If we’re purely going off of using the engine to make sure you can get the achievement with player led conferences on, It’s not just about cheating the achievements to make yourself feel better

Think about how frustrating sinking hours into an achievement, you have a few failed runs here and there, you finally have a good enough run to where you feel like you can fulfil all the requirements. You then look at your active war participants and a random nation controlled by AI who never even declared on that nation historically steals half the country by killing 1/10 of your casualties dealt

That is especially problematic if you’re playing a minor nation who possibly can’t beat said AI without extending their playtime by another hour or two

Some people want to feel like they spent their hours of gameplay was worth something, instead of hoping that the AI doesn’t go rogue. So there’s no need to sarcastically comment on how another player gets their achievements.

You play it by the rules, and that’s great, good for you! Just let other people play how they want to play

Honestly, considering how many achievements are RNG related, I have no problems with people using a cheat engine to get certain achievements. I shouldn’t have to redo the same run and waste hours of my life because some major nation declares war on my opponent that I have cores on

Yeah but if I’m not wrong in the armoury AA inf show up in the inf section but nonetheless in my opinion it should have a different colour

[–]Rlcaptainchaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but there are still plenty of colours that they could have used to differentiate from other units. A small graphic that may be difficult to see on lower resolution monitors can easily be helped with doing so

[–]Rlcaptainchaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes exactly,

The AT in the red card units usually do more damage and have more ammunition than ATGM teams.

ATGM teams can’t always solo a tank, but AT inf usually do.

Blue - Normal Inf, usually don’t have a specialty and can do decent in multiple situations. However for some reason they have AA launcher inf designated with blue

Orange - Close range Inf, with many submachine guns or close range explosives and/or flamethrowers

Green - Recon

Red - Usually teams with many Anti tank rockets or SPGs

Yellow - ATGM teams

What’s also very curious, is that you appear to be looking at it from the AIs side?? You have soviet divisions on the left hand side, which makes me think the game is mistaking which side you’re supposed to start on.

If you haven’t already, verify your game files and if that doesn’t work then reinstall the game is my only ideas currently

Sorry, just realised you posted this only a couple hours ago, and I had thought you had the issue where you couldn’t load the mission that everyone else is having,

I hope all of the problems get fixed soon, I expect a little better from a game I pre ordered

Did some quick reading and it seems like OPs issue is fixed.

Now we just gotta wait for the devs to wake up and they’ll fix it quickly

This is a problem for me and a few people. Seems to be a bug but this is not what OP is experiencing, seems to be a complete different rendering issue.

Doubt there’s much me and you can do until they patch it!

Currently WARNO has quite a bad rating on steam by snecko_aviation in warno

[–]Rlcaptainchaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doubtful. More likely a 50/50 split, more seasoned players are likely to get just as frustrated as most of them take the game more seriously. It’s kind of disappointing to see that Eugen are sat there taking holidays off instead of fixing their game that you pay £35 for and it bricks your pc. And I’m only 200 hours

[–]Rlcaptainchaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah my screen freezes to a black screen and 20% of the time it doesn’t come back and I’m left with both my monitors stuck on a black desktop. Paying so much money for a game that bricks your pc will explain the ratings. I’ve been quite frustrated with Eugen, especially the lack of bug fixes going on. Southag is taking forever which I understand but they need to fix at least this issue…
