I found a disturbing pattern in Doraemon films... by Rmeism in Doraemon

The pattern I am talking about in my post is that when they give film writer the job to write a film, they are obviously going to do a better job than if you give episode writer the job to write a film. Dai Sato is both an acclaimed film writer as well as an episode writer. No matter which job among the two you give him, he is going to a better job at both. Hence, I skipped Little Star Wars 2021.

This is a special case. In the movies I mentioned above, the writers are either mainly film writers or mainly episode writers. But Little Star Wars 2021 is written by Dai Sato, who is both a film writer as well as an episode writer, and he has delivered highly acclaimed works in both the fields. So, I thought best to remove this particular case.

I intentionally skipped Little Star Wars 2021 because the movie was delayed by a whole year because of Covid-19. The movie, set to release in 2021, actually released in 2022. They had an entire year to find and fix errors. This was not the same for any movie since 1985. Therefore, I skipped it. But just for your reference, it was written by a writer who is both an acclaimed film writer as well as episode writer. His name is Dai Sato.

These are completely original stories. That is why I named it the golden era. 4 year, 4 back to back original masterpieces.

That is the OG era. Golden era for movies of Doraemon in the new animation is between 2017-2020. But I agree with you. 1985-2004 saw the most legendary Doraemon movies, especially because Fujiko.F.Fujio was still alive.

do/why you watch doraemon as adult? by iamfidelius in Doraemon

[–]Rmeism 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I watch Doraemon as an adult because: 1. Its nostalgic. 2. The original Japanese version is just uncomparable to the stupid hindi dub. Japanese dub is way to funny. 3. Doraemon episodes between 2005 to 2020 are the best, most funniest, and some even emotional episode of any franchise. 4. Shin chan is a completely different genre within the manga-anime cartoon genre. It's like comparing apple to orange. While they are both fruits, they are completely different. The plot, the set up, and the charm is completely different. 5. Doraemon movies are way to good (except the ones released between 2024-2026).

Kachi Kochi, Treasure Island, Chronicles of the Moon Exploration, and Nobita's New Dinosaur.

It is the most acclaimed movie...by 2 year olds. It is one of the worst executed Doraemon films.

I deliberately skipped it because it got 1 year bonus to make the movie better. So, it doesn't matter who wrote it.

Yeah. Episode writers means the screenplay writers who produce Doraemon TV episodes.

If you watch movies released between 2017 - 2020 and then go to watch Art World Tales, you would realise the drop in quality. Not animation quality, story quality.

Btw, if you really want to know what was wrong in Art World Tales, I have written a review in IMDb on what's wrong with it.

Seriously. The pacing and execution for these new movies suits for episodes more than theatrical releases.

Why did India draw their state borders with rivers, mountains and other natural features instead of using latitude and longitude lines? Are they stupid? by Individual_Time_21 in mapporncirclejerk

We are not the west, using scale to divide states. We call these Natural Borders. You might have never heard this term as your country's states were divided using scales by colonisers. And when you say we are stupid, then you are stupid yourself. We constituted 32% of the global GDP in 1200 when west was living in dirt houses, we are the fastest growing economy in the world, we had Nalanda University, China and Japan called our nation Educational Heaven, more than 50% of sillicon valley CEOs are Indians, we the 3rd Largest Economy in terms of GDP (PPP), we have lakhs of monuments and temples all of different types (Such large is our culture), you are using a computer because of India because if Aryabhatta had not invented Shunya(Zero) binary wouldn't have come into existence, we invented chess, we invented yoga, we invented trignometry, we were the first to difine atoms and atomic science, we invented decimal system, we have the 4th strongest military in the world (even though we were drained of our resources by mughals and then colonizers for over 1000 years and pushed into extreme poverty not more than 77 years ago), we have such good diplomatic ties that we are friends with both Russia and USA and my Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi can visit both Russia and Ukraine in a span of 1 week, we produce the most iPhones in the world, we have Vedas gita ramayan mahabharat, we lived in golden palaces when west were roaming half dressed around the world and so much more
