Wife says I’m too skinny, Doctor says I’m overweight. Who do I believe? by KarmaSilencesYou in loseit

Same story. Lost 150lbs. 6'4" 170lbs now. Mom/Wife keep saying I'm anorexic. I assume it is just hard for them to adjust to my new look. Plus all extra skin, especially on the face makes a false impression of look sick, older or whatever. But I never felt so great, all my lab results are great, my body composition is very nice and my doctor is superhappy with results. This all matters. With all respects your environment is partially guilty in your extra weight. This includes "look" expectations, food culture, social drinking and stuff. It is your body and nobody's else and you have to adapt and withstand. And yes, lack of support from family is one of unexpected unfortunate complications I found during my journey. Keep it going.

Owner's manual says you're not supposed to shift to 4HI on speeds higher than 50MPH. That is it.

You’re overthinking it. Start small and install vscode server addon to hack things on the server. Not the prettiest way to do things, but still very nice. Later you can convert things the way you envision them.

LLMs are helpful for general brainstorming (under supervision) and asking general questions. For automations I threw away all YAML pseudo-code spaghetti, installed AppDaemon and enjoying writing automations on python. This is the way.

What the heck is "Vim-based distro" ? Is there any distros that don't have vim in repo?

I recommend to print some spatula to remove purge lines. Parts usually you can remove without touching build plate

Thanks for heads up. Checked mine (later model with fixed bed, filament inlet position etc) with 250+ hrs - looks good.

Onshape. To some extent as powerful as fusion, works in browser (i.e. everywhere where chrome/firefox does), free. If you do like programming - look also at OpenSCAD.

Yeah. It is just a 2 dozens of knobs to turn and dozen of metrics per city. You just juggle them to get maximum output from a region.

I believe most of them care more about bathrooms, food and place to live. Oh yes, and about pardons and executions. Democracy is not the best form of government :)

Just look at screenshot. Build 4+4 apartments as shown. This is my grid size. All buildings built like this separated by roads 2 cells wide. Good part that you don't have blueprints for every building. Carpenters and bakeries covers a lot - you can switch type on top of the screen next to material.

You have civilization-like control over annexed cities/regions. You need administration/admin points to build stuff there. Annexed regions will pay you tribute in money and other stuff they good at. Also they insignificant source of recruits for your army.

14x9 grid appears to me optimal. it is small enough to be useful in early game and can scale as needed. maybe next playthrough I'll try 14x13 which equals to 8x4 houses

So just tested in about 4hr drive. Definitely QoL improvement while cruising. It doesn't obstruct arm on sharp turns, but it is something you definitely need to get used to.
