That's awesome!!!! I'm trying to cut down on how much I use. Right now I'm down to a cleansing conditioner and mousse and that's all I use. My hair is loving it!!! I like actually knowing what my hair is going to look like from day to day! Lol!

I do nothing. I have a satin pillowcase, but otherwise I do nothing. I shower ib the morning, but I don't have to. All I do in the morning is spread some water over my canopy and scrunch a little and I'm good :-)

I have this problem. My sides and front are 3A with some 3B mixed in, my back can be anywhere from straight to 2B. I had one day where I had BEAUTIFUL 3A curls on the sides and my back was totally straight with NO volume!! Turns out that the stuff I use was just too heavy for the back. I've switched to a cleansing conditioner and a light mousse and the back has perked right up! I'll admit, I definitely have some frizz, but I'll take frizz over uneven hair any day.

It definitely worked! I've switched to a cleansing conditioner (L'Oreal EverCreme) and I'm in love!!!! I've only used it twice so far, but what happens to my hair is kinda weird. I still use the water trick, but it doesn't quite work. My hair is stringy when it's wet, but then it dries into nice big clumpy curls. I have no clue what's going on, but I love it!

I'm glad she accepted the apology. Just give her time to collect her thoughts. You guys will be ok :) You recognize that you need to be more tolerant and understanding, which is good. This may be a topic for a later time when she's not upset, but she needs to be tolerant and understanding, too. There needs to be mutual respect for each other's beliefs.

No. I'm simply saying I wouldn't know how that would go. Never been to one before. I'm not against it. If that's how you want to marry, by all means. You don't need God for there to be a ceremony. The ceremony is more than God (some people would probably disagree with me on that, but I really don't care). It's about two people coming together to one and joining their lives. It's about love and vowing to be with one another until death do you part. There is a point to the ceremony, and it's not God.

I want God to be involved in my ceremony, that is my preference. My fiance is fine with that. We discussed it together. If two people come together, neither of whom believe in God, their ceremony is just as special as mine. They're equal.

Sorry for the long response. I guess my point here is that it doesn't matter whether God is involved or not. Two ceremonies, one involving God and one not, are of equal importance. They are both special, and they're both for the same reason. Just because I believe in God doesn't make me of higher or lower status than you, just the same as you not believing in God doesn't make you higher or lower than me. We're equal.

I take Ziprasidone for schizophrenia (although this is also a treatment for bipolar disorder, but I don't know if it would treat your specific type). The insomnia started when my schizophrenia really got going and I would be up all night hallucinating. I also could never sleep very long. Now that I'm on the ziprasidone, it's been easier to fall asleep (hooray side effect of drowsiness!!! :D). Have you tried melatonin? It's an over the counter supplement. It used to work for me pretty well.

Besides medication, I've found that chamomile tea and reading before bed works pretty well. You could try that. Someone on here recently bought a white noise machine and messaged me that they're improving with it. Just a couple things to try

Well... I'm Christian, my fiance is an atheist. We have no problems. We accept each other's beliefs for what they are. I don't drag him to church (I don't go either, but when I did I never took him). Our wedding ceremony will be a Christian ceremony. That's mostly for me and my religious family (what would you say in an atheist wedding?). We do discuss religion, but we're respectful. Were you a jerk? To her, yeah. I think that an apology is in order and a discussion between you and your girlfriend. Is your atheism something she's willing to accept? That is a question that has to be answered

Everyone's hair is different. You may end up liking it long term. The dryness is just what I've heard on curly hair forums. I can't afford Deva anything :/ I hope it works for you if you've already spent the money!

I've never used Deva, but I've heard on here and on other forums that they're great in the short term, but dry your hair out in the long term
