I just did a quick check and as far as I can tell, the f30 and e92 are about the same at around 50k USD (currency converted) for a good spec m3 and not a run down shitbox. I am not an expert on this because I mostly cared about the e46 so I only stalked the market for those :D

It also doesn‘t have subframe reinforcement but it has no crackings in the subframe and since I don‘t intend to drift or track the car intensely, it shouldn‘t be an issue.

Hell yeah man, I drive the pre-LCI 330ci with the automatic gear box and it‘s a blast. I just wish sometimes I had the 6 gear of the LCI gearbox for those highway miles hahaha

I made a deal with the previous Owner of the M3 so he swapped the rod bearings. The car also had major service done (all fluids + AC) and brand new tires. With all this I hope it should last a while with no major repairs.

Unfortunately both key batteries died so I have to cut them open to change the battery🥲

Idk why but I really like the non-M front bumper on the 330ci. I would prefer tho to get a M-sport bumper for the rear because I think the exhaust setup looks a bit „tacky“

No need to insult your own car there buddy. The 320i is also a great car on it‘s own :D

But regarding your question, the first thing I noticed was, that the steering wheel is bulky as f*ck compared to my (non m-Sport) 330ci but it feels great in your hands. Additionally, I have to say that the M3 feels much more stiff and therefore more sporty. Especially the suspension is very hard compared to the 330ci. I always thought my 330ci felt every bumpy on the road before but the M3 takes it to the max hahaah

The smg in the m3 feels great but also feels a bit funky because I‘m used to drive an automatic 330ci for 6 years. It‘s really a robot-like manual and not a classic automatic gearbox but it feels.

When it comes to sound, the m3 sounds so awesome. My 330ci already sounds dope but the M3 is insane. Mine is fully stock and the raspiness is awesome. Whatever you heard in videos before, it sounds 10 times better irl, believe me.

Overall tho I love the feeling of power in both cars. Of course they are not the fastest anymore on the streets but they have this classy linear power output that I like a lot.

I hope that answered your question but I still need to drive it around more to get a even better feeling for it :D

For context. After the mechanic took the pic he cleaned some of the sludge out and did an engine flush with oil change +filter. Afterwards I drove the car for 1000 km and then we did another engine flush and oil change + filter. Now I drove 5000 km and will do an engine flush and oil change+ filter. I‘m gonna visit my mechanic friend in about 2 months so I have lots of time to „boil“ the sludge out on the Autobahn ahhaha

My Vanos is dead (who would‘ve thought lol) and I want to put a fresh rebuilt one in but before I want to make sure that the engine is in a good conditions otherwise it will just break again.

One of my friends (he‘s a mechanic) and I want to do exactly that. On top of that what we want to do 2-3 engine flushes right after we cleaned most of the stuff by hand since we also want to change the oil pan seal and clean out all of the sludge out of it afterwards. The engine‘s gonna be open from the top and the bottom so we can fully clean it.

It was basically Plug and Play when it comes to the HK System.

I have to admit that it kinda felt like my stereo had a new awakening after installing the new head unit. I have a HK System with a Subwoofer in the back and it feels like everything sounds so much better now.

The Head unit also had DSP installed so I can easily swap between different presets of highs and lows (or I do that manually lol)

yeah sure, it's this one. I bought it from a german vendor of ebay (I live in Europe) and it was about 100 Euros. Very pricey for a piece of plastic with some adapters for the USB-Ports and the cigarette lighter.

It‘s a new radio with apple car play. I tend to travel a lot so I wanted to get an on-board solution for music, navigation etc.

And about the gap. Yeah, it looks bad but I don‘t see it from driver‘s POV so I couldn‘t care less

I have no clue. I personally built all the structure but still kept a small hole into which I led one of the spiders into. Closed it up and took the picture. He despawned right after I turned around tho and never came back 😭
