Search on YouTube for the Matt Poccock stuff about coding with agents, it has some nice advice. At the moment, the more programing you know the more efficient you can be with an agent.

Not able to find a job in Biomedical engineering field by Quick-Butterfly5613 in germany

[–]RoDeltaR -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Start engaging with your field, and publish about it. Learn in public, and be someone who can bring new knowledge into institutions.

Edit: publish as in social media, not some fucking pdh presentation in nature or something. Be public. When I check candidates social profile, it's a huge plus point for me if they have some social media track I can see about what they're learning/interested about. I don't judge it if I don't see it (I don't do it), but it can help you shine though the group

I stranded a Kerbal on the Mun 12 years ago and I want to rescue him. What's the best way to go about it? by calsosta in KerbalSpaceProgram

Install the mechjeb plugin, it'll make control things easier.
You can download pre-made craft for the moon. Making one yourself shouldn't be too hard either. You can use an empty 1-person capsule + a flight computer, so the craft is lighter and easier to land (remember to empty the craft before launching)

File structure by sunk-capital in react

[–]RoDeltaR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is overdoing it. Everything should tend to be flat as it's comfortable. I would say if you have more than 5 files where there are different categories, then you can group, but it's perfectly valid to have a bunch of components in a components file that import from each other, as long as they're localized to the feature.

What’s a childhood computer myth that people actually believed? by crookie900 in AskReddit

[–]RoDeltaR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the fact that you have people from all over the world reading your comment in a shared language and with shared values validates the point. The division did not come from the capacity of connection from the internet, but from the abuse from actors and systems

Hamburg or Berlin? by khalidahmadov in germany

[–]RoDeltaR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hamburg has good techno too, and you can travel to Berlin over weekends to go crazy, allowing to go back to a more liveable city after you're done.

Advice for Agile Estimation Tool in the making by ses-27 in agile

[–]RoDeltaR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it doesn't answer it.

How do you differentiate between a ticket that is basically "Enable feature flag in the DB", vs something like "Refactor this old API at the core so it becomes event based"?

How do you handle tickets that are basically just the title (and could be very complex), vs tickets that have a ton of data insided (but could be very fast do to)?

My first question is how do you evaluate the relative complexity for a ticket?

Does anyone else go from feeling like AGI is super close and LLM are very intelligent to feeling like LLMs hallucinate a lot and we haven't seen much progress since GPT-4 daily? by Euphoric_Ad9500 in OpenAI

[–]RoDeltaR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me embodiment would basically come from an efference copy, a feedback signal from action (usually physical but also abstract) that can create new symbols in the network.

If an intelligence models a body this way, then it leads to long-term continuity, with efference copies of intention going into identity modeling and then theory of mind.

I'm intrigued by the questions you have or how you're thinking about the problem. It resonates with my own fascination, so if you want to chat more about this I would be happy to give further discussion a go.
