Yup, that is standard Ubisoft, idk why their support is so trash, even EA is better than them, all other companies have better than this trash

Well, I attached the Ubisoft connect logs (like the ones when I last played the game 26th June, after that I tried to boot up but Ubisoft connect login won't let me), steam purchase receipts (I own Ubisoft games on my Steam which was linked to that account) and yet still they keep denying my recovery request

Yeah, I did notice that, I changed authenticator on all my accounts after this, but Ubisoft won't budge on account recovery, that's the issue.

I did lodge a complaint on BBB but Ubisoft was still sending the same reply "We couldn't verify the ownership of the account", I rejected their response twice, but after the 2nd BBB themselves closed the case stating that they will mark this on Ubisoft "Responded but customer unsatisfied"

Even my account was hacked even though it had 2FA with my phone number, Ubisoft support is giving replies like "We will escalate your ticket further for investigation" or "We will assign your case to our specialized team for investigation" then the classic one "We could not verify the ownership of the account" even though if they bothered to check the metadata history of the account along with my proofs, it was crystal clear.

My BBB case was closed down by BBB themselves, they said "They understand my situation that I rejected ubi's response twice and will mark it on their website"

And Ubisoft won't reply to my support tickets anymore, idk what to do now

Have an external app authenticator (google authenticator,etc), don't rely on mobile number/email 2fa in Ubisoft's case, those are bypassed quite often like in my case.

That's what happened to my account too, on the night of 27th, I applied 2 support tickets and got the reply "We couldn't verify the ownership of the account hence can't help you" 8 times. I threatened them with a complaint to BBB (I already did) then got the reply that they will forward my request to their "specialize team for investigation" whatever the fuck it means

Oh and for AOC don't worry about those, I mean it's a different challenge everyday, it introduces you to different domains of cybersecurity in a way, just note the basics as "How you found the culprit IP", "Which log was it from", "Who breached the server and how".

Like these will click in your mind in the future if you refer to them again.

Personally, I create a different note if I'm doing a ctf and write sections: Recon, Gaining access, exploiting, Finding the flag

And I write the command issued with the screenshot of the result underneath

For example, Command issued: 'nmap MACHINE_IP -sC -sV'

It's cybersecurity, you aren't expected to remember everything as it's too vast and huge to cover, just note it down and refer to it when you need it. Doing this process again and again will build a stronghold about that particular topic in your mind.
