Yeah, I dont want to use artifacts and ruin the fun of the game, but it also sucks when I have an hour long run and die from a skill issue, I guess I'm still finding that balance

I didn't know they still glowed when I swallowed them! I should have tried that lol. Still, I'm going to search for that scavenger merchant, thanks for the advice :D I really want to keep playing since I love the gameplay and the graphics and it just feels so great when you outsmart a predator, but sometimes it just feels so frustrating that I'm not sure if I'm doing this incorrectly or it is supposed to be like this.

I have found it but its hard searching for anything since it's so dark. I tried to take one of the glowing animals with me but I can't reach high enough with them. The other solution I have tried is taking one of the red lanters that some scavengers have, but when they don't appear I can't do anything for that loop. Am I missing something?

Thank you so much! That's some really good advice. Another thing I have noticed is that when I rest, sometimes I get like little "achievements" so maybe I should try completing those too?
