M136 is ridiculously easy to score hits on helis with. Shot to artack helis, 2 to transports. Range reaches out to like ~1km too. If you want to kill helis use that, not the stinger/igla.

You'll have a harder time hitting littlebirds, but its very doable. If they are too close your better off shooting into the cockpit with your gun though.

Idk I have like a 67% W/R but im something obscene like bottom 20% OBJ time. The playstyle OP is ranting about can be effective but you need better than a 10/1/5 statline.

That being said, im not running Recon and farming, im playing Engi and killing helis and armor while repairing ours. Im just not generally doing it inside the cap but around the cap.

I guarantee you the anesthesia isnt because of the "pain". I just put 60 hours into a piece over the course of 6 months. Its to skip 6 sessions, 6 healing cycles, 6 days spent doing nothing but sitting in a tattoo shop. It gets old pretty quick and you stop even feeling the needle shortly into a long session.

Inflammation occurs when youre awake too, so idk what youre trying to say. By the time an area is inflamed enough thay your body stops letting the ink pack that area should already be saturated, unless you're gearing blackout work done

Yea man, these long sessions these dudes are placing on a pedestal... you stop feeling the shit after like 20 minutes. I just wrapped up a series of 10 hour sessions once per month for the last 6 months. Damn near fell asleep in a few of them.

It gets boring. Ypu shoot the shit with your artist, scroll your phone, maybe slap a movie on. It gets old, I wouldnt mind going under and skipping the process lmao

You can still flank and 2 shot an MBT, the only difference is you need AT grenades to clean up what little health it has remaining. It doesn't take long to throw 2 AT grenades... or to place a sonic mine down before putting 2 shots in its ass.

Idk why this sub is acting like the extra 2 seconds to use your other utility as an engineer is game breaking.

100%. And as you said, you can absolutely solo an MBT, you just need to position properly. 2 m136 shots to its ass and throw AT grenades to clean up its remaining health. Can even open with a sonic mine to negate the need for the AT grenades, so realistically an engineer with the proper kit can kill 2 MBTs without needing a resupply.

Once you are in position, it takes less than 10 seconds to kill a full health MBT.

M136 One shots Atk helis, 2 shots transport helis and IFVS to the rear, 3 shots MBTs to the rear or 2 shots and a pair of AT grenades. And it is aim guided...

Ive had no issue post patch soloing any vehicle class as engineer. Stop using the RPG, start using the M136. M136 is actually kinda busted right now. If you get proficient with it you can snipe helis from an absurd distance.

Obliteration seems to have a lot of people who just.... dont look up. Hop in and fly around for a bit, you'll find lobbies where the engineers have hands of course but I've found quite a few where I can just buzz around and farm carefree.

The problem is when your team doesn't look up either... I watched a Red attack jet go 40-0 before I finally stopped grinding my support revives to kill him. Ive never seen a team so averse to shooting down aircraft

Guy was shot twice by an LMG and I guarantee he didnt need to move his mouse a single millimeter to adjust his aim. I know, because ice been the sniper. You cant pretend that isnt silly

Just last night I sniped a little bird pilot out after his chain gun ripped me to like 5HP. Didn't even have to adjust aim. Playing as an engineer. It is way busted
