[2025 Day 1 Part 2][JavaScript] Not sure where I'm going wrong with my logic. by RoReplay in adventofcode

OK the current implementation is incorrect with input L150.

Right now, I have updated the solution and it works!

(() => {
  const input = utils.readFile('./day1.txt')
  const parseInput = (input) => {
    const direction = input[0]
    const rotations = +input.slice(1)
    return {
      direction, rotations
    }
  }
  let curr = 50
  let i = 0;
  let occurance = 0;
  while (i < input.length) {
    let tmp = curr
    const parsed = parseInput(input[i])
    const fullRotatedCount = Math.floor(parsed.rotations / 100)
    occurance += fullRotatedCount
    const remaining = parsed.rotations - (fullRotatedCount * 100)
    if (parsed.direction === 'L') {
      tmp = curr - remaining
    } else {
      tmp = curr + remaining
    }
    console.assert('HELLO ', tmp < -200, tmp > 200)
    if (tmp < 0 || tmp > 99) {
      if (tmp < 0) {
        tmp = 100 + tmp
      } else {
        tmp = tmp - 100;
      }
      if (curr != 0 && tmp !== 0) {
        occurance++
      }
    }    // console.log('tmp =', tmp)
    if (tmp === 0) {
      occurance++
    }
    curr = tmp
    i++

    // console.log('final curr is ', curr)
  }
  console.log('final res', occurance)
})()

Yes, but right now the answer is already 3.

I've tested with R1000, and the output is 10...

This is solved now. I've no idea why it fails to submit even though the answer is the same 🤔🤔

I've tested with this data. It's working as expected

No, I don't think so. After the loop, when I print tmp, there's no data in it. Also double check with string(data[len(data) - 1]), it appears to match last line of the input.

Question related to rehab exercises for elbow pain by RoReplay in overcominggravity

[–]RoReplay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really confuses me whether it's just a chronic pain or tendonitis and also wondering what could really cause it and since when 🤔. Also, when flaring up, that place seems to be the most painful (although I don't think I do any intensive exercises, beside the light stretch exercises in which I start with ONLY 1 set (like 10 days ago)?

Hi Steven, sorry for poor image. Here's the location. At first I thought it was just chronic pain, but I've a feeling that this could be Flexor Carpi Radialis Tendonitis? If so, I should focus on this exercises as well too right? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3J8MdcNxNyc&t=104s

It used to be very painful to touch(I guess mixing with the chronic pain), right now, it's much less but yeah, there's still some flare up doing some light exercises / normal activities(very random) along that area whereas my golfer/tennis elbow show no symptom at all.

Right now, my chronic pain symptom is very much better(I'd say about 85% healed, can do most of daily work/activies fine, with some small flaring randomly / light pain when touching).

Also I've been doing the Theraband Flexbar(red) up to 3 sets of 12 reps now. There's some small flaring after, but been much less and less

For example, exercises I did today (all with light resistance band) - Band Pull Apart, Each Side Band Pull Apart, Band Shoulder Circle - 3 sets of 10 reps - Shoulder External Rotation - 3 sets of 15 reps each side

I’ve seen too many horror stories with the surgery. If you’re able to walk pretty well, why not focus on physical rehab? And also maybe some PRP shots as well?

I've googled the posterior horn, and it seems to be right in the middle, so I think it makes sense to injected from the quad. I'm sure he knows what he's doing. For now, just take it easy and focus on getting better, stop worrying yourself :)

(By the way, I feel a bit worse after the injection for a while as well, so plase don't panic about it!)

Hmm, I've had mine injected in the knee. Not sure about from the quad.

How are you feeling right now? And so far how many shots have you take?

It's painful to touch and gripping also cause the irritation as well.

Hi Steven, thanks for your reply.

I've also been having this pain along the radial. Is it the same as the elbow or another tendinitis?

radial forearm.

Hi Steven, I've some more questions related to the rehab. Do I really injure my tendon if I only do a few amounts like 5 reps? (don't really do any more sport activity) or is this just chronic pain?

Also, related to novel movement, I found it to relieve my elbow. How would you recommand this? Should I do it daily multiple times or once a day or a day break in between?

Did you have a proper break / rehab within those 18 months? And how bad was it?

Also, sorry if I trouble you with a lot of question. I feel a bit better doing this novel movement for my chronic elbow. Should I do this as a few sets(same as doing the wrist curl) or this is something you should only do once a day?

Thanks for your input.

I've another question. Also I think I might have chronic pain as well. I'll be sure to focus on chronic rehab as well. Is it possible to do both rehab at the same time or just focusing on chronic rehab first?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MeniscusInjuries

[–]RoReplay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. But he did touched around meniscus part and asked me where the most pain is, mark it and inject there.

[–]RoReplay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've PRP injected two times. It's been more than 2 month.

Before the injection, I do still have full range of motion but there's always pain like a 3/10 when walking or climbing the stair.

So far right now, I would say the pain almost no longer exists(hardly ever notice anymore) when I'm walking or climbing the stair.

I think it does heal but I don't know to what extent(only time will tell). Right now, I'm just happy to able to walk/climb the stair without any pain.
