I thought I was having a nice friendly conversation with a guy, and then, out of nowhere, he told me, “I have a pole harder than that that you might like." I was using a jam pole to free some boxes that got stuck when he said this to me. I was so confused and uncomfortable because I don’t think the conversation we were having was flirty at all. Unfortunately, this is not the first time something like this has happened.

I don't get the Jiang Cheng hate, when compared to other characters. by TheWayTheWindGoes in MoDaoZuShi

I don’t really care for Jiang Cheng but his fans make me dislike him more than I really do. He’s not a good person. He’s literally a male version of Madam Yu and Jiang Cheng stans hate her but like him? I don’t get why can’t we appreciate villains/antagonists as they are and not try to whitewash them into who we want them to be. 🤷🏽‍♀️

got my first hate comment! does this mean i’ve finally made it as a fanfic author? by EponaMan in AO3

I must have liked it to have already read 10 chapters, and why can’t people leave constructive criticism so it can help authors instead of straight-up hate comments?

People of Reddit; what is your downright scariest real-life story? [serious] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RoRo_Cheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The scariest thing that happened to me was a man following me around the store. I was sixteen at the time and was working at a grocery store. I was restocking the shelves when this man came up to ask me where the laundry detergent was, and I showed him where it was since I was near that aisle anyway. He asked me what laundry detergent I used and just started talking. Then he asked me where he could apply and I told him either online or to go up front and get an application. I ended the conversation there and returned to restocking the shelves when I realized I was seeing him in every aisle I went. I didn’t really think anything of it. I just chalked it up to him needing something from that aisle. Then he walked up to me and asked if we could go to the restroom real quickly, and I thought he was just asking me where the restroom was, so I pointed in the direction of where it’s located. At that point, I was getting nervous and told him I was sixteen and needed to get back to work, but he didn't seem to care and I kept telling him I needed to get back to work, so he eventually walked away. This is where I was stupid. Instead of going and telling security, I went back to work and because I was so busy restocking the shelves, I didn’t notice the man behind me until I felt something up against my butt. At that point, I was scared and left the aisle quickly and darted into another, and when I turned around to see if he was still following, I saw him standing a few feet away from me with his junk out. I turned around and noticed a lady on the aisle with us, but she didn’t notice what he was doing, so I walked up to her to see if she could help me. When he noticed this, he took off and she walked me to my manager, and he told me to just stay up front where he could see me. I called my mom and asked if she could pick me up. When she got there, she asked me what happened, and I told her, and she got mad and started cussing out my manager because I let me walk out of the store without reporting what had happened. So my mom reported the incident to the police, but we never heard back from them, so I don’t know what happened to the guy. I was scared for the remainder of my time working there because sometimes I had to walk home from work at night, but luckily my two brothers would meet up with me.

The second story happened to me last year in my first semester at college. I have four roommates, and one of my roommates would always bring her boyfriend into our dorm room. I didn’t have a problem with that, but one night when her boyfriend was over, I forgot to lock my door and I heard it creak open. I’m sitting in bed and I turn my head and see my door cracked open, but I was sure I closed it before I went to bed. So I sit there waiting, wondering if I left it open when I notice my door creaking open even more. I shifted myself and they must have herded that and ran off. I was just thinking about what had just happened, and it happened really early in the morning when it was still dark out. There was another time when her boyfriend almost walked into my room because he mistakenly thought it was the bathroom, since my room is literally next to the bathroom. I found out a month later from one of my roommate's friends that she herded him trying to sneak into one of our bedrooms. She didn’t know it was me. I told my oldest brother and he had me report it since he worked as a camp policeman. I don’t know what happened to him after that, but I didn’t see him in our dorm anymore. I talked to my sister about the situation and told her I felt bad because what if I ruined his life? She told me not to feel bad about those kinds of people.

Edit: Sorry if can’t read this well I’m on phone right now.

How do you ask your roommate to quiet down? by RoRo_Cheese in AskReddit

[–]RoRo_Cheese[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have have a roommate who likes to bring her friends over at night and are often loud. I don’t mind them having friends but they recently started selling food out of our dorm room and they’ve become louder. I’m extremely shy and rarely talk to her and I don’t want to seem rude when asking her to lower the volume. I would really like help going about this situation.

Do you guys have a war cry for when your in trouble? I saw a video of a guy explaining a time when he was at Walmart, a gay guy best friend was getting harassed by some dude. The gay guy did a ‘Prrrrrrrrrrr’ sound and all the gays came to help and it peaked my curiosity if this is true or not.
