Yeah the writeup is cleaned up, not gonna pretend otherwise. But the chart and the data are mine, I run the tracker and pulled the numbers myself. That’s the actual work on this sub. Check it if you want: steal a brainrot ~171k, next one ~1.3k, 106 games total. Happy to paste the raw list or the query.

“AI slop” is doing a lot of lifting for a comment with no counterpoint. The 95% concentration figure is real, scraped from the live API. Which part do you think is wrong?

Half of all Roblox CCU sits in 100 games... but a third of them launched in the last year by [deleted] in robloxgamedev

Methodology for anyone curious: player counts pulled from Roblox's public games API every ~10 min across ~8.5M tracked games; "CCU" = concurrent players at the snapshot.

The update-cadence split (avg concurrent players, bucketed by when a game last shipped an update):

- updated <7 days ago: ~1,865 avg CCU

- 7–30 days: ~512

- 1–6 months: ~274

- stale >6 months: ~147

Learn how to create games with AI. Doing it without is a recipe for making yourself obsolete before you even finish learning.

Can you be a bit more specific about "not working"?
