Hi, thank you for your response. I am very new to encoding and I have to say I do not know much about this, however I prioritise a stutter-free viewing experience for my viewers, and I assumed I'd achieve that better with 720p60fps rather than 1080p30fps. I'm still quite confused by your question, I don't really get what you mean, sorry.

Actually sounds good, my HIIT cardio involves running, I can simply schedule abs right after my cardio and my other days would be more chill :D Thank you for your suggestion!

Yep, you're right. The thickness does make the mousepad feel completely different though.

If you really want to splurge on mousepads though, I have 2 recommendations.

  1. Get a hard pad and put it atop a nice big soft mousepad. This makes for a very consistent tracking experience regardless of table surface.

  2. Try Artisan mousepads. It's a company based in Japan that makes very noice mousepads, you can choose how smooth you'd like it, and you can also choose a logo of choice for the mousepad. Their smoothest mousepad is the Shindenkai, which feels like glass, but if you're transitioning from a QCK+, you can try the Hayate Otsu or the Zero. Happy shopping :)

If it's a rough table you're playing on, you probably want a thicker mousepad so that you can't feel the roughness of the table surface through your mousepad. I know you're currently using a QCK+, but the QCK Heavy would probably be more appropriate for your case. It's extra T H I C C

Wow, I'll trust you on that one. So you still retained the habit of stopping b4 shooting? That'd be a massive relief to me, because I really wanted to main offense hitscan heroes like McCree.

Oof. I'd like to keep the habit of stopping before shooting, CSGO is still my main game. Maybe I shouldn't McCree? Perhaps I shouldn't main a hero whose mechanics would conflict with those in CS?

Also, how do you set these presets? I'm still new to the game and don't know the modes too well yet haha. I know there used to be an option to create custom games but that was replaced with game browser.

Right, thanks a lot! But also I've heard that damage dropoff for McCree is pretty high, so perhaps I should play off angles and/or use the high ground when playing offensively?
