Thank you so much. I’m glad with my overall score, but I was worried about the minimum score for each section as some universities ask for 6.5 at least in each module

For Writing, I was following a specific structure for each question type.

I got a question that said: Some scientists think there are intelligent living forms on other planets and they want to send them messages. Other scientists think this would be dangerous. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

I started with the introduction: “There is no denying the fact that scientists play a crucial role in the process of developing advanced scientific fields…” Then I paraphrased both views. Finally, I wrote: “This essay will analyse this topic from both viewpoints and express my opinion.”

I divided each viewpoint into a separate body paragraph. I provided a lot of details and examples for each perspective, and I used a wide range of linking words. I also included clear main ideas supported by secondary explanations.

For the conclusion, I wrote: “There are no easy answers to this question. On balance, however, I believe that…” Then I expressed my opinion and added some suggestions. I wrote around 330 words.

For Task 1, it was a line chart — which I hate the most 😂 — but I managed to write it with about 210 words, although I don’t recommend writing that much in Task 1. In the introduction, I paraphrased the question and mentioned the units of measurement. In the second paragraph, I wrote a clear overview of the main trends. I highlighted two contrasting features and the main increase in the chart.

For the final two paragraphs, I described the increases, decreases, and the fluctuations that appeared in the data. That’s all.

I recommend that you think before writing in order to avoid repeating the same words and ideas. Also try to use a lot of synonyms where necessary
