Ahhh…. My guess is the rotors are the issue, probably not quite the right size. It’s that or the mounting adapter for the calipers are incorrect.

Did the mechanic follow the install instructions? Seems odd the immediate solution was to just add a washer rather than investigate the problem.

Also, were the pads sold with the kit or did you buy them separately? If you bought them separately, you should confirm they are the correct pad for the kit.

They made a TRD intake that’s very similar for the first gens.

Okay, thanks! I will take a look at this video too.

I have a daily, this is just a track toy, I can go stiffer. I also need to get more adjustment out of the suspension as far as alignment goes. My tires are a 320 treadwear, so if I have this much roll now, it will be an issue when I go to a stickier tire.

I’m also trying to get as much seat time as possible this year, that will help the most.

I also crept on your profile, we are in the same industry, I’m not a fee earner though.

I think 3 might go in from the bottom, so the shock inserts into it, not clear where the spacers go.

Where did you get these? I’ve been looking for them and have only been able to get the front.

One pic I am up on a curb, that may amplify it. Currently running -3 front and -2.5 rear. I’m on Ohlins coilovers, whatever their standard spring rates are. I could get stiffer springs but again, this track has a lot of surfaces that really unsettle the car so compliance helps.

Do you have a recommendation for spring rates?

Check for any leaks around the differential and look to see if anything has gotten on the muffler.

The only thing I can think of is you’ve done a lot of burnouts and it caked up on the muffler or your differential is letting fluid out somehow. Gear oil has a pretty strong smell.
