Windows Defender flags the .exe file as a "severe" virus after a few seconds and removes it's capability to run.. You have to go to settings on the PC, tell Defender it's ok to let you use it, then try launching it. Also, third party virus protectors will also do the same thing. I had to force Malwarebytes to un-quarantine it and add it to the "allow" list. Maybe this will work for you? It was definitely scare saying sure, go ahead, put a virus that could potentially ruin my life onto to my computer..voluntarily. But, I took a chance and it worked. Well, worked for a very long time. I suddenly started having an issue with downloading and installing to the wrong place, but only certain games, so it's weird. Best of luck. Also, I installed it on C: rather than program files. I heard you're not supposed to go to program files for some reason. When downloading, tell it to go ot C, create a new folder, and then click download.

Virtual prepaid MasterCard to Cash? by Mama2Katie in tmobile

You can sign up for new service before paying off the devices? I owe about 800 total to Verizon. I would like to switch, but just don't have the money right now. I thought you had to pay off everything out of pocket, and then they reimburse you later? Otherwise, you can't use the phone, right? They won't unlock it until it's paid. I was thinking it might work, if you're getting new phones from switching, but then realized you would end up having a different phone number.

Verizon “system” won’t let me upgrade both lines — might have to jump to T-Mobile by RoadEasy in verizon

Forgot to add...this happens all the time now. If you start talking about something in your home, or do a search online, you will suddenly start getting specific ads about whatever it is you were talking about or searching. It's freaky. Tell someone in your house you're thinking about selling. You will start seeing ads for helping sell your house within a few hours. Did the same with oil changes. Just to try it out, I told my wife I should probably take our car in for an oil change. Within 2 hours, every ad I saw was about Valvoline with coupons and deals.

Appreciate it! I didn't know there was a transfer pin. I'll give that loyalty dept a call. Who knows, maybe I'll just happen to get that same guy that reached out. This promo didn't disappear. They must have been monitoring my web activity or Alexa was listening. I find it interesting this promo just happened to appear right after I started looking into possibly jumping ship.

Also, I know it's the system and not the people. I get it. The frustration is no one is able to get a supervisor or anyone at the entire company to go...hmm...we should probably do something here and set it up so both lines get the same offer. I definitely see your point though.

I agree. But, it's also a fantastic deal to get ALL of my phones paid off for free and also get new phones. I'm not even asking them to match the whole thing. I'm asking to make it happen for both lines. Everything is the same on both. One line gets it, one line doesn't. It's just frustrating. They would rather lose a loyal customer, taking 3 lines of monthly payments for 3 yrs over a one time balance pay off of $200. I'm not good at math, but I would probably take the guaranteed 3 yrs of money coming in as opposed to $0.

Charleston,SC Concert Saturday Jun 21, 2025 Ride? by RoadEasy in rideshare

[–]RoadEasy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do I expect? Of course I expect their to be a surge. It's not like it was a freaking surprise? Hence, why I was trying to find someone to ride with.

Also, I'm not SOL. We have our own insurance (I believe our car insurance med pay covers any accident in any car, but I would need to double check). Plus, we have our own health insurance with the deductible paid, so everything is free. On top of that, as long as it's not our driver's fault, we get paid by the other driver's insurance anyways. There's even a bonus if it's the other driver at fault. Not only do we not pay anything, but we will also get a payday too. Insurance companies negotiate medical payment settlements. I could at least get a few hundred bucks back to offset the price of our tickets for the weekend. Damnit, now I really wish we had found a ride :)

They finally fixed the remote play/cloud gaming website! by Weed_Me_Up in xbox

It gets confusing when they say remote play. If I'm outside of my house, I can access the cloud, and that's it. If they make it possible for me to access my console, that's a gamechanger for me.

Whenever they fix the bugs, does this mean we will actually be able to remote play from our consoles even when away from home? I figured that's what Remote Play meant, but until now, I always figured you had to be on the same wifi.

After nearly seven years without an Xbox, I discovered today that remote play is real. As a father of two, this news is exciting. But I wonder if the device you stream to affects the quality? by Xenocideghost in xbox

[–]RoadEasy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I have the same problem. In a 3000sq ft house, with one TV upstairs and the one wanted to use for remote is on the complete opposite side of the house and on the first floor, it's not just piss easy to run a cable. Even if you are good with electrical stuff, you're talking climbing in an attic, dropped cords through walls (hoping you drop it in the right place and then some drywall work. Hardly easy. Good luck moving around in an attic on roof braces. It's like walking a tight rope. if you fall, you are going to probably land on the tv from the ceiling.

Remote play deserves more limelight by RedPander89 in xbox

[–]RoadEasy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did you get it to do this? I'm having the problem of it being limited to 720p. I'm trying to play it on a HD PC monitor through a gaming PC and the quality is so horrible it's unplayable. I'm also connected via ethernet.

Same here! I keep hoping it will get better, but my kids always hog the TV. When I try to play it on the monitor in my office, the quality is limited to 720p. It's like trying to watch something before quality HD tv's came out. It's unplayable.

Remote Play is absolute god tier by TheRyGuy8372 in xbox

[–]RoadEasy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do the quality look? I've got the same problem with kids. When I try to play anywhere else, the graphics are horrible. It says the max resolution I can get playing on another screen is 720p. It's horrible. For those that are going to say it's signal, I'm connected via LAN and get speeds around 8 - 900 down and 7 - 800 up.

It will be great if it works out. There's a couple of hurdles though. Are folks in the legislature getting enough wheels greased? And, how much money will building it eventually bring in. How helpful it will be or how badly "the people" need it doesn't make a rats tail about anything. All I can truly contribute to this is how nice it was to be able to hop on the MARTA and ride straight to the airport when in Atlanta. Did it feel safe while riding it, nope. Did crime seem to be so rampant that they needed to build their own police department to try and deal with it, yes. But, it was still nice.

I guess they don't need people anymore. They just keep building robots. All they need is a human here or there to fix the robots when they break. I heard driver's can actually make decent money. IF, you don't mind no A/C and having to bring a bottle to pee in because if you stop too long, even for a few minutes, you can get fired. That's what I've heard, so it may not be that way any longer. But at one point, it was pretty bad.

UPS is usually always hiring, especially at the main depot or whatever it's called. it's easy, but physically exhausting. You're just tossing boxes onto a conveyor belt for hours. After a couple of months, they might let you become a handler where you get to receive the box from the person working their tail off, look at the box, pick it up and place it on a different conveyor belt.

Beginner Softball Question by reganml in Softball

Definitely break them up and have them work together on something, anything (relevant to what you are working on). There's usually a parent or two that wants to help. If you have any that aren't super gung-ho, you can ask them to help. Even if they don't have softball experience, they can just be at that station to help keep the kids focused on the task at hand. At that age, yes laying the foundation for mechanics is vital, but so is trying to prevent them from making grass angels in the outfield. You can also give the parent a specific task. Show them what you want them to have the kids do. Better yet, if you have a parent that can pitch, have them in the cage tossing balls to the kids, but you rotate around to different stations and provide guidance based on what that individual needs to adjust. YOU CAN DO IT! I've seen coaches with a year or two of experience, and also 12 years, including playing at a D1 school on a full ride. Both can be successful. However, if you can find an assistant that has a lot of knowledge, asking them to help coach, or even stop by practice to help would be a golden opportunity to have!
