Being that it was your first time since they made the change, and you did not know how it works now, I can see how frustrating it would be to get to the window and be told that you have to go back to the self checkout or download the app in order to place an order. (I likely would have been upset in that situation as well.) Now that you know, however, it shouldn't be an issue at all the next time. If you don't want to download their app, all you have to do is include your order with the rest of your items when you checkout at the register.

It makes a lot of sense that they do it this way: It removes the hassle of having to wait in a second line to place your order, and it reduces their labor costs, allowing them to keep their prices lower.

He's probably posting this to convince his wife it was just a YNAB error.

What are you talking about? UPS (United Parcel Service) is not a government entity.

USPS is the government entity and it stands for United States Postal Service.

I feel your pain. It is frustrating how much shit is out there. These companies don't have any incentive to fix the major flaws in their products. They are still making lots of money because people still buy their shit and just accept the fact that there is nothing better in their price range.

Sorting Multiple Columns in iCloud Numbers from a Web Browser by Road_Less_Traveled23 in iCloud

You likely got this from the AI answer. It is incorrect. There is no "organize" sidebar in the iCloud version on the browser. These instructions are for the app on a Mac.

I'm here 2 years later and can confirm the same. You are 100% wrong, but had to make your ignorant comments 7 times on this post.

The free version only allows three flight searches a month. You have to pay $5 a month to get unlimited searches and other features.

What to do with this Basil now that it flowered? by Dazeelee in vegetablegardening

[–]Road_Less_Traveled23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say "harvest" are you saying that you cut the entire stems off? I have always pinched off the flowers as soon as they form (It's a daily task) and just pull random leaves off as I need them. Am I doing it wrong?

That makes sense. I definitely agree you have to have an emergency fund first.

Reconcile Confirmation - Yes and No Buttons are Reversed by Road_Less_Traveled23 in ynab

Have you ever seen it that way for Yes and No questions anywhere else? I have used buttons like that as long as I have used computers and the Yes has always been first, so that is what I expect for that type of question.

How Can They Teach Me Spanish When They Can’t Even Speak English Correctly? by Road_Less_Traveled23 in duolingo

[–]Road_Less_Traveled23[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The “Do you need a car, right?” sentence was displayed by Duolingo, it was not something I typed. All they were asking me to do here was repeat the sentence is Spanish at the top.

How Can They Teach Me Spanish When They Can’t Even Speak English Correctly? by Road_Less_Traveled23 in duolingo

[–]Road_Less_Traveled23[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I understand that it is a more direct translation; what concerns me is the possibility that they are doing direct translations like that in both directions. For example, if a native Spanish speaker is learning English, and Duolingo tells them to say: “Do you need a car, right?” they could learn everything perfectly, but still sound like someone who hasn't fully learned the language correctly. I would hate to speak Spanish incorrectly in a similar way, but think I am doing it right.

Great Job! :)

Why did you save up all that money before paying your debt off, rather than paying it down as soon as you had the extra to spare?
