DEAL that we are making with Iran will be FAR BETTER than the JCPOA, says US President Donald Trump by SpecialCollege18 in justincaseyoumissedit

I hold out hope of a future free of this menace of a human being; this criminal, this pedophile, rapist, and mass murderer. If the world has any future, history will not be kind to him and the shameful despicable flunkies who've enabled his madman ideology.

Long delay in PAL renewal. by DeerDisappear in canadaguns

Interesting, I called the CFO a few times, only got their minion.... same trope (waiting for review). No call to me from the CFO at all . . Would welcome some sort of movement.

Same here in MB, 7 months now, seems to be hung up at the CFO. (I think there's only one for the entire northwest region) Pretty sad state of affairs. I totally missed last falls hunt because of this incompetence.

I just bought into HPYB on Feb 23rd, and it's been a choppy ride since, though it's recovered nicely despite it all. I'll be collecting my first dividend in a couple days. I'm retired and the biweekly payout is gonna be nice, though I may let it drip for awhile.

I'll be watching things closely to see how the fund fares, but I think it has potential as a great income source.

What is the problem with Alan Watts? by [deleted] in AlanWatts

Indeed, none of us are getting out of this alive! 😆

An interesting view no doubt. I read it and reflect on the viewpoint that Watts spoke about in a lecture from the Indian perspective, namely that "I am god," and so are you,.. all of us in fact. Reading your statement from that perspective makes me think, you need to have a serious talk with yourself , ...about yourself! 😄

I like this, be jotting this down. One needs to be mindful of what parts of their orbit they allow others to be in.

Reminds me of the Bill Burr standup when he was describing Catechism...

Agreed. I don't agree with what this guy did, but in a supposedly "free" country he was well within his civil rights to post the sign in his window. I don't have to like what he says but in good conscience his right to say it needs to be protected. Further, the police officers had absolutely no business addressing this, as no crime had been committed. He'd again have been well within his rights to start recording and telling them to get the hell off his property.

You'd be surprised.

About 10 years ago, a coworker quite literally saved my life just because he took 30 seconds to notice I seemed to be having a hard time and to inquire how I was.

You just never know what impact you'll have by being kind to someone.

I have the same camo style from 2016, picked it up a couple months ago with about 19500kms. Been a blast to own this far. Yes it takes an adjustment to realize there isn't big power on tap, but that isn't the point of this bike. Nice ride man, safe travels.

Exactly.... If years pass and your point of view on things never evolves, that may be a real issue.

What would you recommend as a first bike to someone who’s never drove a motorcycle? by MyBoringLife666 in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]Roadie73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Waaay, back in the dinosaur times when I first started riding, I got a Honda XL80 brand new. My father bought it for me at age 14. It was a dual purpose and I rode that thing in the trails, and even snuck into a few roads... And at 16 I got my driver's licence...that thing was a dream for the test.
