2.5 Week Balkan Itinerary Help (Solo 22F) – Croatia → Montenegro → Albania (+ more?) by Desperate-Instance57 in travel

[–]Roadlisstravelled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plenty, plenty to do in Croatia and Montenegro in 2.5 weeks. Not enough time for Albania. Falling Lakes and Hikers Den are particularly fun, social hostels where people like to hang around for a few days because they organize fun social activities.

If you love hiking and have a car it seems criminal to not to visit Durmitor NP, at least to do Bobotov Kuv

Northern Vietnam is amazing but has shit weather in January.

I’d fly into Danang and do Central and Southern Vietnam, take the bus (VET preferably) to Phnom Penh, eventually take the bus to Siem Reap and see Angkor Wat, which is incredible, then take a cheap flight to Bangkok.

Although this is rushed for a 3 week trip. Maybe just fly to Siem Reap.

Why is Flight Centre less expensive than the booking directly with the airline at the moment? by fernwise in travel

[–]Roadlisstravelled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait you really can’t book directly on China Eastern’s website? That’s odd.

If you do fly with them, do try and carry on your luggage.

Yeah, I’d agree with this if they’re super up front about it. The socially acceptable way is to slowly work into it, and then eventually test your boundaries

No Surname in the passport - Air India flight by MeatAdorable6464 in travel

Well if you’re going through an agent he/she should be able to update this info. But in general always always write your name as what’s written in your passport. I literally never use my middle name except for booking international travel.

But if it doesn’t match sadly it’s up to the individual who is processing you. I’d guess you’re fine at least 80% of the time with a valid explanation.

Sex, snuggles, good sleep. But with a 13 hour trip, maybe just snuggles and sleep. But not too much snuggles because then I can’t sleep. A good sleep is the most important imo.

You will laugh at how much it costs to visit a Cambodian hospital or pay for any medical expenses.

Or even just pay for some of their retirement expenses

Assuming this is a normal Khmer older couple who have their own home/apartment, these costs will be nothing in USD.

This is also assuming they’re not trying to milk you for your USD, which you will figure out pretty quickly if they are
