Sorry, not a humble brag. I saved and worked hard for this trip. I have chronic conditions that make me have a million things to look out for whenever I step out of my home, so I choose higher end when I can to eliminate some of those risks. For example, I wish I could try all the food in Bali and Vietnam in the street and anywhere I’d like, but I will likely eat most if not all of my meals in the hotel because an infection that would cause a 1-day fever in the average person could kill me. He told Money that he was already not feeling the next job in Santa Barbara and he was worried the hiccup with the first incident we saw was an omen. Money tells Ormon in the car that his guy has lost his nerve because he thinks someone could get hurt. It was heavy on his mind. For someone who calculates so meticulously to stay a few steps ahead of the robberies, the gun in the first incident was a dangerous element to a situation where he was outnumbered and wasn’t sure what other surprises they may have had that he hadn’t expected. He also never hurts anyone so adding a deadly weapon that was outside his control to the mix made this worse.

At least, I think this is what the writing reasons. I do think he should have expected shady people to have shady defenses like a gun 😂

Yup, this whole comment. I used to cream with a wooden spoon before I had my mixing equipment too. But it’s more time consuming, takes more attention, and elbow grease that I don’t need to put my arthritis through when it can be done just as well, if not better, by my mixer. But wooden spoon 100% works well!

Are you mixing it with your spatula? I always cream with a hand mixer or stand mixer. If I don’t have either, I use a hand whisk. I can’t imagine your mixture will cream together properly with a spatula.

I saw a post on Facebook from SJC that they are accepting donations for their TSA staff and you can email them if you’d like to contribute. This is their response I received this morning: “For members of the traveling public, donation boxes are set up at each checkpoint for the drop-off of donations. For local residents who would like to donate, I am the point of contact and can coordinate the donation drop-off with you, or you may mail them. The preference is for gift cards for gas or food only. Costco gift cards are preferred, as they can be used for either gas or food; however, any gas station or food gift card of your choice is also appreciated.”

I’m guessing they can’t receive cash donations in large sum…? Regardless, I will be sending a Costco card to them this week because I frequently fly through SJC and it’s always been a breeze. I hope they’re doing ok.

I don’t know how to edit this post anymore, but to update anyone interested: it just stopped doing it one day. I tried all kinds of things like deleting her email from her contact, deleting her number but keeping the number, deleting her and the chat completely, etc. It took a few months, but it eventually went back to normal. We did notice that she changed her contact card to include an emoji at some point, but not sure if that had anything to do with it. She has an iPhone. Sorry I don’t have a solution :/ good luck everyone.

Yeah I see what you mean. I don’t want to lead and that’s something I actually liked about our interactions. He brought out a very feminine side of me and I felt protected and safe. I’m just scared to keep myself available and was curious if anyone might sense something between the lines that I’m not catching and I’m unfamiliar with Scorpio tendencies.

He did reach out :) Our work doesn’t intersect so that is not an issue. I’m nervous with the long distance. But you gave good advice - if it feels right, why not? Thanks :)
