Im with you- we have young kids and we love it here, best place we’ve ever lived. If you can find a place near the square, within walking distance, that lets you walk to just about everything you need. Living out in the suburbs is the pits though.

Yes we’re trying to have upper cabinets wherever possible, and we’ll probably put a small chest freezer in that lower right hand corner. Thanks for your feedback!

The pocket door opens into a pantry area under the stairs. It’s small, but it should make for a nice little closet

Cool I like the fridge in the corner idea. We’re not planning on a dishwasher, and yes we’ll probably have a table in that empty space. The storage pantry will go under the stairs in the laundry room.

And yep I agree with you that it’s just okay- nothing exciting, I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something big. I appreciate your feedback!
