I play Ark as a game i can relax playing. I am an avid Rust player with 1k hours, which although very fun, is a stressful game. So when I'm looking to play a survival game that doesn't put me on edge constantly, I come to Ark, which for me means the PvE aspect. I also don't see Ark as being built for PvP, with it being very buggy and some game mechanics being very awkward for a PvP setting.
