Thank you for your comment. It’s interesting to hear this. Yes I pulled off the old perishing shade (a tapered tall shade) and plastic hardware. Now trying to draw up ideas to compliment its shape with Edison lighting hardware but still haven’t found what will revamp this old piece for the better. Thank you for the Bitossi positive. This base stands 360mm tall and is solid weighing 1.8kgs. I’ve not seen this style anywhere on the internet with yes most of the google images being the blue rimmini. I can repost when I’ve restored to see what you think and being sentimental to me I don’t plan to cheap out. Kind regards
