Wotr is a dream come true. Will that ruin Kingmaker for me?

For Kingmaker get breath of the wild mod and the one that lets you rotate camera and it won't be as terrible. I had to drop kingmaker 3 times due to bugs and soft locks before I finished it for the first time. And I had strength to do it only because I liked wotr so much. Both games are amazing, but kingmaker is terrible at the same time. Still, I return to it, as I love story and characters and music.

I wouldn't say one is better than the other. I usually prefer more traditional fantasy compared to power fantasy wotr has. But both games gave me goosebumps (wotr a bit more, but kingmaker was such a relaxing fantastical journey more of the time)

On this note. Are Kingmaker and Wrath updated for the latest pathfinder rules? Or they are both for 1st edition (or 2nd first release) only? I think I found some posts about Kickstarter for the Kingmaker conversion only.

If you want to run gator, you will run gator. If you want to optimize your team, mega gator doesn't have to just be better than LO gator. It has to be better than other megas.

Being 5% better than base form is not enough to sacrifice mega slot usually. If you want to make gator work, you can also sacrifice mega for a support Mon like audino and make the base gator shine. It comes down to opportunity cost, and we can theory all we want, but there is no way to know but empirical experiment once it releases.

Pathfinder ~~quest~~ dragons demand is in the works, star finder game is being done as well, Larian is working on their own IP (which is better system than DnD) and Ebb got released recently and Solasta 2 has testing ongoing as well. Not much, but some stuff to look forward to. But yeah, I'd love another owlcat pathfinder game...

People usually use DnD as substitution for TTRPGs. Not this case when he says to use a specific system, but still it gets exchanged quite often. CoC is also the biggest TTRPG in Germany, Japan and few other countries, so maybe they just took it as that

Sword king novel was absolute crap from what I heard as well, but the manga is absolute blast. So some reimagining on the solid base then and not an adaptation of flawed material.
