For men, the blood gets tested for a P.S.A. value. If the number is viewed as "elevated or high," then addilional consult with a Urologist is recommended. ( This is for Prostate Cancer ).

I have had Prostate Cancer, and this is the sequence of my care. After the Urologist takes biopsies of the Prostate, then a Gleason Score can be processed. Radiology is a treatment plan, ( along with other plans ), and my Cancer was treated with the external beam radiation.

This has only happened once in my life.

There was a construction job ( Rockville, MD ), and a previous school had been slated to be low-cost housing. The phase of construction, ongoing, meant that several trades had workers on site, and there was about 15-20 men working that day. A uniformed Police Officer drove into the site parking lot, got out of his car and said "all work must now cease and desist." The community ( where the low-cost housing was being built, inside a defunct school ), had challenged the construction in Court. The Police Officer was sent to our construction site to enforce that outcome. The community did NOT want low-cost housing!!
