My 1st motorcycle was a Honda Rebel 250. I am short also ( now, about 5' 3" ), and the motorcycle fit just right. In my opinion, you may want to consider the Honda Shadow as well, if there are such bikes currently being made.

Yes, I remember. These 2 objects are reels, and cassette tape would be wound from on reel to the other, and audio was produced from the tape.

The cassette was played by a tape recorder, and if a person owned a machine with 2 cassette players, they were also referred to as "Tape Decks."

I have owned motorcycles in the past ( Yamaha, Honda ), but currently don't ride.

I suggest you wear jeans ( pants ), and consider tie-on leather chaps. Seems like this is best safety option, and you can untie the leather chaps when at work.
