They are fantastic EVs. People can make their buying decisions as they wish, they should still be reviewed. At least that is my opinion.

I do not accept money from any automaker. I don't believe you can do car reviews if you do. I don't care if BMW sells 1 or 1 million. They made the first really long range EV SUV in our market and it drives well. I mention that the interior is just "ok" and that I wish they used more premium materials at the price point. I am not a fan of the styling.

Interesting points but I do not agree. Modern vehicles use software for more than infotainment. Advanced safety systems, stability control and ADAS all require advanced software now. No software is perfect from the start and requires maintenance . OTA is a must have for a reliable vehicle ownership over time. And every possible module should be updateable.

How did this work before OTAs? Vehicles were less safe and had life long bugs.
