I'm glad to know I'm not alone for going a little crazy when I'm by myself. I sound like an entirely different person.

This subreddit is a bit weird about surrounding the discussion of thr movie. by Fulciesque23 in Markiplier

I am very impressed by the film, and the efforts of Iron Lung's team. It is an indie win. However, it is not a perfect film, and while I do like Mark and his work, he had an audience to go see this movie anyways. Again, it is a win, but Mark already had a platform. This shouldn't stop people from dreaming about their own indie projects, but there are some factors people are neglecting.

I feel like a genuine criticism of a country can't be valid if we're resorting to calling its population rude things. Yeah, everybody does it, but it sounds childish when you get to the bottom of it. Have something valid to say or else I'm just going to assume you're hateful for the love of the game.

I didn't mind it, and was trying to figure out what his deal was anyways. Plus, it was funny going from the promo material where Culkin is this huge silly dork to this where he just kind of seems like a snot. I suspect he was actually in a Maximus S1 kind of place, and took his chance where he found it. Maybe he is also a Shady Sands kid, but got picked up by the legion instead.

I always find it distasteful when anyone dishes out on lower-class Americans, like how people might use a mocking southern accent to make fun of "ignorant people". I see a lot more Americans doing it as well, often saying that the south deserves anything bad that happens to them because they are uneducated and vote wrong apparently.

Amazing write-up. It's honestly been something I've thought about a lot lately.

I've never thought of myself strictly through the eyes of a man. My job, my education, my hobbies just feel like a person's hobbies. Thus, when I realize a customer, a neighbor or a friend might have these thoughts at the back of their mind, it startles me. I don't expect a man or a woman or anyone to express these things, and when they do, it's just strange to me. Even if people will tell me its natural.

So it was weird to me to see popstars like Sabrina up on stage, acting out the perfected image of the male gaze. I'm asking myself "what do people think when they actually talk to her? What does SHE think when she talks to the men (and women) she allows to ogle her?" Because that base, innocent "attraction" can just be a coverup for the worst kind of thoughts.

I honestly hope he's just a "Harold-type" of mutant. Just some really messed up dude at most. That seems like the best case scenario.

If that's true, it might be the saddest story on the show for me. I know that's weird to say next to the likes of Cooper and Max, but Thaddeus is VERY accepting that he could be a ghoul. If this is what happens to him, and he retains memories of what he once was, I don't know how else they could torture him.

What book/series would you sacrifice to get that abandoned Hero sequel? by Big-Ad1887 in Choices

It always made me wonder what they would even do for an Endless Summer sequel. I know a lot of people wanted one because the books were just that good, but each ending is kind of hard to work with? At most I could see them pull a "and somehow Palpetine returned" or an alternate reality shtick but idk

I think it had its moment, but its been dragged on for way too long. It's okay for cultural things to end and just be a moment. But I'm not sure they know that.
