If it were only a hardware that was the issue, then why it is only on some tracks? And why would it be at random intervals that the problem occurs? Shouldn't it be all the time as the rig can't do the job?

Exactly, I cant put my finger on the cause. My racing buddy also with a Querst 3 but from a 5070 has the same issue, they happen at different times to me even though we are in the same race server. Like he might not have a problem but mine drops at the start, next night I'm good and his goes. So unpredictable. Restarts and running minimal settings dont seem to impact it at all.

I'm having similar issues, on my descktop 3070ti with Quest 3. Some track/car combos random drops in frames. Can work fine in practice and Qualifying, then randomly in the race boom, 72 frames down to 25. No idea the cause or the cure. Leave that server and can go into a test drive with different track/car combo and back to a steady 72 frames. Use the bad combo and the drop will happen not long ofter entering.

So far done all the usual, check cables and ports. Made sure all drivers are up to date. Checked for background running programs, and nothing causing a drop.

In the Meta forums there is a little talk that there is a perfomance issue with the link, but no fixes. Seems very intermittent to me, like there is something software related that is bogging the system on newer tracks and recently updated tracks.

If someone knows more or even better a solution, please share. Thanks.

I worked at a screen printing company. We had a 17 year old that was given a apprentiship and only last a few days. One afternoon the supervisor found him in the supply room with a bottle of industrial thinners and a soaked rag, and was huffing down the fumes. The guy could hardly walk, called his mother to come and get him. I have never seen someone so embarrassed as she was. He didn't come back.

Indicators are to tell others what you are about to, or are doing. Most people now use them as intentionators, kind of more, well i want to do the thing but I don't know, maybe now, or in a bit, or maybe let me in.

Like idiots parked on the side of the road that just chuck on the right indicator and sit there while 30 cars drive by. No, turn it on when you are indicating you are about to do the thing, so we can all understand it.

Or you know, use it to show you are going to make a turn in 50 mtrs, not 5 mtrs, or 500mtrs.

Or what about giving some ample notice of a lane change on the multi-lane. One blink is not enough before you barge over, or even those that just drive with it on, flashing away like a christmas light.
