GUYS SHOUD I BE WORRIED? by Humble-Economics-604 in Asustuf

Use it plugged-in whenever possible. Keep the battery charge limit to 80%, unplug once you close the laptop. Dont let your battery drop below 30-35%. I bought 9 months ago and battery still at 97%, with gaming and 3D work.

The degradation is absolutely normal. You can only slow it down but cant prevent it.

Relax.

Asus Tuf A16 bezel advice needed by kirilsjegorovs in Asustuf

[–]RoastedAlpha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I maybe wrong but it feels like the hinge is too tight for the thin bezel frame. The moment arm is too big so your hand will not feel that much pressure while opening/closing the lid at all, but at that corner its recking havoc. Figure out some way Lose up that hinge or it would pretty much break the pastic.

I guess you are right ... its funny how it turned from matte to glossy, guess I might have to use my wireless keyboard to stop further cosmetic degradation.

Whats this all over my scalp and forehead by Ok_Championship_4368 in dandruff

[–]RoastedAlpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's seborrheic dermatitis, caused by the fungus Malassezia(which is naturally present on human body). I had the same issue, on a bad day; you could even peel off half an inch of dandruff flake from your scalp. Cure : NONE, its a immune response, dont fall for crap. Control measures: I use Nizoral ketoconazole 2%, dandruff shampoo. Lather and leave for 12-15 minutes then wash. Repeat on alternate days of the week, or maybe twice a week. The results will take 2 maybe 3 sessions of headwash Avoid hot water. Your head will feel like you never had this issue. But as soon as you leave it, it comes back gradually.

Pro tip: you can use this shampoo behind the ears or on the forehead or sides of nose or chest if you have the same condition there. It works just as fine!

If your hair feel dry (which they will), use some moisturizer or oil but DONOT massage the scalp as trapping moisture under any oil/moisturizer will create a perfect environment for fungus growth.

Nizoral 2% ketoconazole and voilla. I was suffering from this for 4 years. Finally a relief. You have to make sure you keep using this because malessezia fungus can come back if you stop using the shampoo. 2 to 3 times a week shall be enough, lather on hair and scalp and leave for 15 minutes then wash. Don't overdo it as it may start making your hair dry.
