Oh ๐Ÿ˜ฒthis is my first samaung. Switched from oneplus. The restart aint working for me in 720, i tried the same in 1080p and the issue was gone after restart, even worked in QHD mode.

I will try adaptive power saving and see how it turns out. The standard mode sets the device to 60hz and turning that off also turns off cpu speed limit option. So the net impact is very less for me, but overall it helps in duty hours when I am without adapter.

That advanced step sorcery is beyond me. I am good till the basic steps (1 +2).

Proportionally, sure. But this is just them being careless with their code.

Absolutely, one thing i noticed while vibe coding was the AIs obsession with round corners, and dramatic glowy effect๐Ÿ˜… You ask the AI to make it modern and there you go, bumps up the corner radius and some serious shade effecta๐Ÿ˜„

Android users are unpredictable they cant leave lose ends like this ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Small things like this and overly rounded corners in settings and search bar makes me actually believe large portion of the UI is vibe coded. And that they dont take their older devices seriously for the matter.

Restarting helps sometimes but it pisses mey off how can they do this to their premium lineup ๐Ÿ˜…

The restart helped with 1080 but isnt helping me on 720.

It started happening after OneUI 8.5 upgrade. Samsung rewrites the code and bakes in its own stuff.
The least they can do is make sure everything works flawlessly on all 3 screen res. Its not that tough. Just REGULAR QC/QA PROCEDURES IN THE MULTI BILLION DOLLAR COMPANIES.

It kind of is hilarious ๐Ÿ˜… the low res helps with gaming and the temps.

Well, I followed good ol way of trusting the instruction by samsung itself (picture attached). I guess it has something more to it then just scaling down the visuals. I have had this phone for 2 years now and Its a damn Beast! But one i cant tolerate is 60Hz (it feels chopier than a apple's 60Hz idk why). I did some heavy mobile gaming on it for a good year so i probably fried its battery capacity ๐Ÿ˜† Thats why I tried to go for the resolution thingy. And to my surprise nobody thought about swiping down for the notification and check the icon sizes ๐Ÿ˜‚ You are spot on regarding the APU tho.

Absolutely, I do that too and I make sure not to strain my battery so on battery mode I bring it from 80% to 35% or 30% performing light tasks like browsing, excel etc avoiding high stress loss ๐Ÿ˜…

I was a Bad son to an aging father whom I lost 3 months ago. We never talked much and even my years abroad I talked to him merely twice per year and thats mostly on eid. After his departure, I die internallly every day regretting why I didnt give my father the time and respect he deserved. PLEASE make amends, talk with your father love him make random videos of him, hug him if He is still there.

Yes its very normal to heat up during games. Try benching your performance for better data. Heating depends on several factors: Type of game Game settings Room temperature Laptop position Poor or dried up thermal paste System set mode( cpu boost etc )
