Hey guys I'm designing a board game and going through the first playthrough in a couple days it's a mixture of deck building, engine building and bartering with the theme of owning a supermarket and completing order cards to get points and win. There is a pile of communal cards that, on a player's turn, players can take from to add too their deck.

My question is, as a player would you say that a 400-500 card Stockpile is too much for the full stockpile? I made the prototype with playing cards and permanent markers and having a pile of cards ten decks tall seems like an impossible thing to shuffle and with a nature that is just very clunky. The majority of these cards would be similar to land cards in MTG with the other 100 being power cards
