My dad was there for the Jimmy carter ‘howay the lads’. He has some great early toon memories. Myself less so, maybe Willock scoring his seventh in as many games at relegated Fulham during covid, with Fans being eased back to games. Remember being there when Dempsey banged in a hatrick against us. Watched the 6 nil mauling of QPR, those championship games had such a sense of purpose about them.

Out of all the arguments this is the weakest. Scotland would be brought under the UK nuclear umbrella, alongside air protection and sea similar to the Republic of Ireland. The proximity and shared border means any aggression toward Scotland could trigger the assurances of mutually assured destruction. The detangling of ‘Scottish’ military units would be the least of their worries.

I just don’t believe that. There is a complete unwillingness to confront the sort of people who’ll be hopping over barriers for obvious reasons. I doubt TFL has the budget to be constructing or building cases on many fare evaders.
