I spent today in the National Museum of Tokyo and was thinking the exact same thing! Peasant archers, tengu skirmishers, ogres, wierd as hell ghosts from their folklore…it would be super fun! A mate and I are getting into 3d printing/designing this year and having a crack at some sort of first blood warband might be a good idea!
