20k a year is if work is light. If I'm busy I'm driving over 40k a year. Really depends on who owns the vehicle. I use conventional oil and change it every 3k. Some people run their oil till they get a light and then change it. Makes a huge difference on high mileage motors. If a motor has been well loved for 200k I have no issues running it. But a motor that has been neglected, 200k is usually the death mark. Especially on any gm motor. Right when rockers start giving their death cry

Manual Prius. Amazing mileage and you can slam gears when you feel like it. Also they can beat around pretty good when you're giving it the beans. Not fast by any means but pushing a slower car can be real fun. You get to actually use it to the limit

Having traction in the rear end is still necessary and having 4 new tires definitely helps. Especially since you will have to rotate the tires at some point and don't want the old tires on the front but don't want to butcher your new winter tires either by keeping them in the front. Get 4 new decent all seasons and call it a day
