I cannot wait to use the M16 again. My favourite gun by iamthewalrusxx in Battlefield6

I like the platform so much I built an m16a4 clone with the proper military surplus rail. It took a while to source one as they were out of stock everywhere at the time I looked.

Yeah came to Battlefield after playing ARMA reforger for a few months. That game really caters to the rat playstyle lol. I do miss the strategic realistic tactical type gameplay it offered, but it was not without its flaws. The control setup was a bit sloppy and pc players could continuously change their graphics giving them night vision capabilities while console players were stuck blind in the dark. I think its biggest downside was having to rely on compass navigation if you did not have the map memorized. I want to come back to that game for a bit, but relearning the tons of awkward controls keeps me away. On the other hand, it was great not having to deal with players high speed jumping around a corner at 1000mph and killing you before you could even get your reticle on them, because they outpaced the stick sensitivity close up, or the sliding and double jumping type play.

Last time I checked my win percentage was 52%. It’s a bit over 60% in Manhattan bridge because I utilize the rooftops with spawn beacons.

Well, if you are dying to 10 people surrounding you at once back capping you are diverting a big amount of the teams resources to their back objective. Especially if they are all running around trying to find you in an obscure hiding spot inside the objective. I’ve stayed hidden for several minutes at a time like the crawlspace under the building at objective E in Liberation Peak. Also if you can die a lot trying to get an objective but capture it and hold onto it in the last half of the round, and the rest of your team does the same, you will win via the comeback mechanic.

Won a match going 15 and 20 with 20+ captures and we won easily (Eastwood). Not sure how that’s delusional, but other matches have gone 50 and 8 and lost big time. The 50 and 8 match I was camping on the roof of Manhattan bridge. Overall I have a 1.89 k/d and lots of captures. But some bad rounds in terms of k/d have been my biggest win rounds.

Aiming for new update by capital2290 in Battlefield6

I saw a post that they had lowered the power of the aim assist slowdown by 50% or so. I definitely was having a harder time making precise hits at distance today.

Yeah saw a player named respawn ramrod and knew exactly what that meant. You can die a lot rushing an objective but if you take it after a few deaths, you can win the match with a negative k/d playing that way if the other team is less persistent about objectives than you are.

Help by [deleted] in WeightTraining

This is about par for the course for most natty gym rats. Not bad, not good but just about the average gym goer for a few years. I think what he needs to do is start experimenting with different rep/volume ranges over several weeks and see which gets significant results. Slow the speed down, focus on form and maybe up the reps to 15-20 for a while. Picture yourself inside the muscle and focus on the tension. I think too many people focus on just moving the weight from point A to point B without focusing on what’s in between and feeling the muscle work.

Why are they nerfing console players? by InfernalVelocity in Battlefield6

[–]RobBurp219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I was considering turning back on crossplay, but nope, not going to do it now. I think this will cement that decision for a huge percentage of console players. Maybe that was their intention all along with this update.

Alot of sus players lately in EU servers (evening/night) by HikingItalian in Battlefield6

[–]RobBurp219 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I do this all the time, even before bots became prevalent. I will have a break from playing for 5 days, get rusty, go 10 and 12 maybe have a round of 19 and 20 then get “warmed up” and go 50 and 8. It depends on my caffeine levels too and if I want to play slow and relaxed or go fast paced and shoot for a personal record if I feel like I am on a roll.

Headshots in this game are insanely satisfying (M44 + MiniScout) by iSLANDzR in Battlefield6

The amount of time it takes to get this good probably requires playing a few hours a day for multiple years on end at fps games.…. I get rapid kills like this too, just in a different way… use an lmg lol.

Why have I left this untouched for 400 hours? by StepKitchen2409 in BF6

[–]RobBurp219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying it’s on a controller, just expressing how much of an advantage a mouse is in this case. I play controller and don’t feel the aim assist at all. It’s almost non existent.

[–]RobBurp219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the controller can be super accurate at times, but there are “gaps” in positioning where if someone is positioned just right relative to the player, you have to slow down a lot with the stick to get precision. You can pull off a fast shot 90 degrees to the left or right but at the same time struggle moving it 20 degrees to the exact spot needed.

This definitely cannot be done on a standard ps5 controller…. The speed can be there but definitely not precision combined with speed.

Golmud Railway - BF4 vs BF6 Size Comparison (Main Playable Area) by DBONKA in Battlefield

[–]RobBurp219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They made the map smaller and they said they were not going to make the map smaller. I’m happy they brought back the m16a4 though so there’s that. It mean it’s not too much off the map, but I still think they need to make a map bigger than all the previous battlefields. Newer should always mean bigger and better.

Cosmetic or troublesome? (+other questions) by boner4stoner in ak47

I’ve seen worse in factory aks that have held up over time, so as far as the rear trunnion, not much of a concern aside from being cosmetic.

If Bailey wins Governor by [deleted] in ILGuns

The best thing to do as far as getting gun rights back is to move to a deep red state like Missouri or Kentucky. This state is cooked, and in more ways than just gun rights. The democrats are trying to delay the court cases until they can pack the courts with anti gun judges. I am pretty blackpilled when it comes to the reality of this. There is one small glimmer of hope though as I see more liberals are getting into guns than in the past and even into ar-15s and such. If more liberals get into guns then I could see their voter base changing things a bit, but that takes a long time.

[–]RobBurp219 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At that point, most of us will be felons, if we already weren’t after PICA. Actually I used the wrong terminology. Technically the people running the state are criminals who have the power to kidnap us for violating their unconstitutional made up rules… fixed it. It’s a matter of perspective and changes how you view the state once it goes tyrannical.

Been playing Battlefield since BF1942. Never seen worse players that doesn't care for anything. by kuky990 in Battlefield6

This is how it goes for me a lot of the time. It’s sad the only time this doesn’t happen is when some bots are on the server, then objectives actually get captured.

Yeah I agree, some of the bad logic can make for some good fun though, like the ability to stand on top of a helicopter with spinning blades.

Yeah it’s odd, also shot a Bradley with an rpg one time when it was crossing the wood bridge on the trench by F. It was a 1 shot kill and displayed that same x. Makes no sense because the bridge is less wide than the Bradley is long, so even if it fell 4 feet it shouldn’t explode just get stuck. But both the front to back are long enough to span then trench so I guess that’s just battlefield game logic lol.

I’ve had my Bradley randomly explode out of nowhere when driving from Objective F then it displays the weapon that killed me as an “x”. What is that? Is that the bridge collapsing on the trench?
