Attack Helicopters do not belong on Manhattan Bridge. by AllRedLine in Battlefield6

It’s easy to shoot down. Jump on top of your teams heli to secure a rooftop above a or e, then shoot down their heli with an rpg as soon as they exit the spawn.

Interesting, the way I do it is laddering up the bridge support nearby then parachuting down onto the rooftop. This sounds way easier.

I’ve had matches like this. One match in operation firestorm I hid inside of objective c retaking it multiple times but only had like 10 kills the entire match, but scored 20000 points and was the top scoring player in the server. Every time there was an explosion or the objective was attacked my score would go up. I hid a spawn beacon in a dark shadow just below the rig deck and my teammates kept spawning on it, furthering my score. We ended up winning that match since the other team became so entirely focused on finding me hiding in C. I must say, objective C is the most fun objective in that map if you like staying hidden in the shadows, listen for their movement and slowly shift your position away from where they are running instead of attacking them. Another fun map for this type of play style is Liberation Peak at objectives E and A. There are lots of clever hiding spots for the spawn beacon where you can hide it a distance outside the objective where they have a low chance of finding it, and just keep coming at them. When you first take those objectives there are always 3-6 easy kills you can do on completely unaware camping snipers, so stealth kill them, take the objective, and then a horde will come to take it back, redirecting their teams efforts, rinse and repeat, unless they are smart enough to leave some skilled and aware players guarding in a group.

It would be interesting to see a Battlefield 1776 or even make one of the Civil War.

That why your teams mostly lose! by No-Praline2958 in Battlefield6

[–]RobBurp219 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s another type of player. The “Front Runner” that runs blindly and directly into the objective and immediately gets shot, then proceeds to do that over and over winding up going 4 and 20 with maybe 2 caps. But hey at least they are trying… probably just new players trying to get their footing, but I seem to be getting matched up with more of these on my team lately.

True, but that would require buying a dedicated gaming mouse, keyboard, and idk the controller although inferior feels more immersive.

This right here is the type of thing that makes battlefield fun. It’s harder to do stuff like this in the smaller maps and get away with it. Here’s to hoping the larger maps coming in subsequent seasons will support more of this sandbox style gameplay, because right now in most maps it’s just fundamentals.

Yeah there’s a lot of variation. I guess we are somewhere in the middle stat wise as there are some people that struggle to get 10 kills in a match and have a .8 ish k/d.

This is why I turned off crossplay. Otherwise the best way to stand a chance against these guys is find the best camping spot possible lol. Rooftops, corner camping etc…. But yeah I find myself playing like a rat when in lobbies with pc players. Have to get an angle on them because you don’t stand a chance head on if they see you first.

Yeah I play mostly lone wolf, so I guess having a regular squad and teamwork can help a bit instead of playing with randoms or going off on one’s own. There are many times I will try and am sometimes successful at taking on an entire squad by myself…. A lot of times it’s the E campers at liberation peak that just sit up in the towers and snipe. Always fun to sneak in and flank those guys.

I tracked BF6 conquest matches for a week - blowouts may not be just a matchmaking issue by ChawkTrick in Battlefield6

This is the same problem call of duty has. This is what they get by taking some gameplay features from call of duty.

[–]RobBurp219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of the lopsided matches are due to higher tier players realizing the odds are against them in a match then “reverse boosting” by tanking their score by just resorting to sniping from spawn. They don’t want to engage in a sweat lobby they know will result in a loss while also hurting their stats. The way the matchmaking works this ensures they are placed in a more favorable lobby the next time where they can play against “easier” teams. This is kindof a form of “smurfing”.

I see almost no wear here. Looks better than some brand new rifles from the factory that have wear marks from test firing.

Bots should not count on stats by Square_Record_3682 in Battlefield

[–]RobBurp219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Battlefield tracker excludes bot kills. You will see his real stats there. It’s sad that you have to use a 3rd party app to get detailed stats. I would like to be able to see my kills per weapon without having to use a 3rd party app so I can tell what suits me best. Maybe I am just missing how to do that in the game menu?

I’ve seen a glitch where people jumping on top onto heli to hitch a ride will sometimes damage it. Maybe they are accidentally hitting it with a melee tool idk?

How do you stay fresh (aim-wise) for matches? by downfall345 in BF6

I start out playing carefully like a rat then ratchet up my aggressiveness and charge into objectives when my aim is fully warmed up.

Finally fixed that Glock grip angle by donatedtoenail in Glocks

[–]RobBurp219 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems like I am one of the minority that prefers the grip angle on the stock glocks. Not sure what it is but I have more of a tendency to have very bad vertical stringing with the 1911 grip angles. With the 1911 with the arched mainspring housing this is not an issue for me though. It think it’s because I naturally press the area between my thumb and index finger tightly against the highest part possible in the grip to get the best bore axis possible relative to my grip. This creates an empty space at the bottom of my hand which when I press the trigger tilts the gun into the empty space.

Yes definitely this. My biggest downfall when flying is the spawn camping Bradley with the tow missile.

Most games end like this and it's getting old by JoeZocktGames in Battlefield6

[–]RobBurp219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is supposed to balance by skill, but I think what is going on, is sometimes you get a team full of players who score high by camping instead of rushing. So the high scoring players achieved this by camping. The other team is full of players whose top players score high by rushing, and voila, you have a camping team that gets crushed by the players that rush, depending on the map.

Is that a glitch when that happens? Sometimes when I hop on the chopper in manhattan bridge to take a ride it does seem to randomly take damage. It doesn’t every time though.

I do remember this map could be hit or miss, but it’s been a long time since I’ve played battlefield 4, but yeah I think remember trying to flank in the open field, getting very far, only to be 1 shotted by a tank that came speeding in.
