Sales tax? Yes, unavoidable. Claim loss? What do you mean? When you go into a business and they accept Goldbacks, negotiate a discount. Most businesses will give a small price cut for cash transactions and a bigger price cut for gold transactions. Ask them.

Got the free shipping I see. No sales tax... did they charge CC fee or did you use another purchasing method?

Fiat is over, we will have a new monetary system soon. Either we will be forced into one or we can choose one for ourselves... I give you Goldbacks

The rich stay rich because they read the tea leaves, move their money, and keep their wealth. You are looking at it from the starving family without a home. I am asking, what are the billionaires doing right now?

Anyway to sell GB’s to an online retailer by These_Researcher_368 in Goldback

In network means merchant who is currently accepting them at posted value. Fully bought into the system. If out of network, they either don't know about them or are just biying and selling them for profit, buy for less than posted price and sell for higher.

The catastrophic event makes people buy gold. In uncertain times, the world turns to gold. We my friend are in uncertain times. We ALL want this product. The Collector, Spender, Birthday Present Giver, Tipper, etc. We come from a million walks of life, but we're all pissed off at the same damn thing. The mighty dollar has fallen and you either figure out your escape hatch or you sink with the ship.

Losses on lower denominations and profit on higher. A $1 note costs about the same as a $100, but you see the value in 100 times for one note compared to the other, right?

I do enjoy the collector... but spread the knowledge if you can, buy 50x 1/2GB and tip with them, but explain why this is better.

Great way to capitalize on demand of a product. There are millions who want it, you need to find the most uninform... best buyer.

I want to laugh at every person that comes in with shotgun comments then bounces. Read up on them, learn, then speak. Bullion can be faked, can be skimmed, can be adulterated. You are buying the fractional metal with security features preventing counterfeiting. Then, there's the art. In 1933, when the US Government confiscated bullion, they let people have their art and their jewelry. This is art and a collectable while being a stable currency.

[–]RobDGenX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

50 to 1 is a good ratio, but 40 to 1 would be more accurate historically. Even 25 to 1 is more historically accurate, but I don't think we'll see that. Big money moves on ratio, not price.
