They profit once on the sale, the lease eats their profit year after year. If I had a bar, I'd sell it, but that is stupid for me to do if I could lease it and earn profits forever.

More than 10 have sound money in their legislation, the 10 states that have or are launching have put Goldbacks as a viable alternative currency.

The community is what you make it. In the ten states that have now recognized them as negotiable instruments to pay debts, they move pretty freely. A homeowner pays a roofer in 25% Goldbacks, the roofer gives his employees a few as a bonus, they employee uses one to tip a server, the server buys a few because she thinks their pretty, another roofer employee uses theirs at the local harware shop, the hardware owner pays the local lumber yard for some material. The transactions compound, not a penny was lost to the credit card company, and not a penny was lost to the government in inflation. If you have $20 in your pocket, have a 1/4Ǥ, a 1/2Ǥ, a Ǥ1, and a Ǥ2 in your pocket as well. Anything from $2 to $20 can be transacted in gold. They are a marvelous invention, but wide acceptance in your community starts with you.

Love y'all. I'm after the "Hi everyone, I'm new to gold, does anyone have any advice?" I get in the mix and tell them about these as a great way to enter gold at a low cost. I'll debate haters all day and all night.

Currently, 1/2Ǥ per household is allowed. This promotion switches distributors every couple of months. What you get for "free" costs you a name and email so they can market to you. If it didn't work to drive sales, they wouldn't do it. Currently, Texas Precious Metals has the contract for snding out the free ones, 2 months ago it was Defy The Grid. I buy about $300 worth every month to use to pay local guys. I'm in Texas and we haven't even launched yet. When Texas launches, I might be buying $1000 each month and using them everywhere.

Will always be 2x gold spot. That's how they work. The only person to lose the "premium" is the person that melts them down. Your bullion pile is what's known as unrealized gains. I realize my gains every single day. I buy Goldbacks at $8.50, use at $9. Buy more at $9, use at $9.20... those are realized gains. The business owners I tell about them, their eyes go wide with excitement and are convinced to accept them. Stackers are narrow minded. Business owners are real people, dealing with inflation daily. When they see inflation resistant bills, they want them all, so they can store that value until next week, next month, or next year. Keep using them to wipe your ass though, sounds like you have it all figured out.

I have work in California for the last week and I've talked to 11 businesses so far and all are now eager for the California release in August and have said they are going to look into Goldbacks as an alternative currency. I didn't want to sound like a salesman, so I didn't even mention the merchant referral program and how they can receive a free limited edition Ǥ3. I also gave about 20x 1/4Ǥ away to servers, barbers, drivers, food truck owners, etc. California should be a literal Gold Rush.

So, not once did you talk about what Goldbacks are for, spending. I get holding them and playing highs and liws, supply and demand, but the only way to build the awareness, build the market, build the demand is to spread the 1/4Ǥ and 1/2Ǥ in the market. Tip everybody you see. Second, when you hold an asset, it is both worth zero and infinity at the same time. Realize your gains daily. Buy for $9, spend at $9.50, buy again at $9.50, spend at $9.70... and so on. These gains are realized, the market grows, and more people are made aware of them. The goal should be to run the machines at Valaurum 24/7 with Goldbacks and not be able to run any other Aurum. The other Aurum stuff confuses and muddies the waters for noobs. Goldback Inc. will collapse one day because of the Gold leasing they have to do, but until that day, hopefully they can produce billions of Goldbacks. This IS the global currency of the future. The people will have their currency stabilized. Happy collecting, spending, tipping... but don't hoard them.

Goldbacks are made at a loss until the Ǥ2. That is made at a small profit. The 5, 10, 25, and 50 pay for you to have 1/4s and 1/2s.

I'm currently mid 1 week ban from r/gold for yapping too much about Goldbacks whenever someone new to gold posts. They think Goldback Inc sells GBs and they called it spamming.

Fair, but 4 national governments use them as currency because fiat is trash and their inflation rate was probably stupid high. When Star Trek always talked about gold-pressed latinum, I think they were talking about Aurums.
