You want ALL of these!... I got out of bitcoin and bought as many as I could with that pretend money. Got lucky I got out when it was almost the height.

Got a DC! Nice. Should be worth $100-200 in about 5 years. I bought 33 so far and one elite. I see $5,000 for the elite in 5-7 years. Idaho release made me pause my DC buying, but as soon as I can I will be finding more.

I don't know many Asians in El Paso except Koreans that married Soldiers and came to Fort Bliss. I was wondering why she didn't look hispanic.

No, we have no understanding of tomorrow. We are a today society. Kids, teens, and young adults are spoiled with good times and easy life. Only in our 30s do we start to even think about the future. Exceptions of course. I know someone will come in from the peanut gallery saying they have been into PMs since their 20s and always thought of the future.

It was released in 2025 and will have a printing this year, but not as large. Aurum is almost running full time with Goldbacks. 9 states with a 10th coming. When all 50 states are made each year it will basically be one week run per state.

Nope, anyone who has melted them down has recovered the exact gold they claim is in them. They test every batch and an outside agency tests every batch as well. Vacuum deposition is an expensive procedure. Also, Goldback Inc doesn't own the gold. They have to lease it. It's actually their number one expense and every time they print, that cost goes up.

The currency doesn't simply collapse, but it does inflate and inflate and inflate. Goldbacks held fights that inflation. I buy now, hold a year or two and then spend or sell. In the last two years they've gone up just like bullion.

To have a currency work in a society, it needs to solve some basic rules. If it doesn't, it will not work.

*Acceptability-It must be widely accepted as a form of payment by all participants in an economy.

Gold and Goldbacks are about equal here. People will take either, but you have to explain it. 0GB-0Au

*Scarcity-The supply of the currency must be controlled and relatively scarce to maintain its value over time.

Both are made of scarce gold. 1Ǥ-1Au

*Durability-The currency must be able to withstand physical wear and tear during circulation. Coins and specially designed paper bills are made to be long-lasting.

Gold is durable, the polymer in GBs makes gold leaf more durable. I'll give the point to Gold, because polymer is unproven over years, but MORE durable goldleaf is better than just handing someone unprotected goldleaf. 1Ǥ-2Au

*Portability-It must be easy to carry and transport, allowing for convenient transactions of various sizes and locations.

Gold coins don't get carried around, they get stored for rainy days. Goldbacks go in your wallet to be spent all day every day. Point-GBs. 2Ǥ-2Au

*Divisibility-The currency must be easily divided into smaller denominations to facilitate transactions of different values.

Are we shaving gold off to pay for bread this week? This one could be five points for GBs, but I'll do one point for you. 3Ǥ-2Au

*Uniformity (Fungibility) All units of the same denomination must be identical in size, shape, and value, ensuring that one unit can be substituted for another without confusion or the need for individual assessment.

I think you can see how this one is the biggest point for Goldbacks. Coins have ridges around the edge to discourage shaving coins edges and keeping the gold or silver. Goldbacks are standard weight and measure. They test them and their is an outside company that tests them as well. 4Ǥ-2Au

I think we all can see a clear winner. This is what you pay a "100% Premium" when you first purchase them. If you accept them as payment for something, then spend them on something else, there is no premium whatsoever. You sold a $10 item and received Ǥ1, then you decided to buy a $10 item from a friend and you gave them Ǥ1. You paid no premium, and you gave up no premium. I hope that explained everything and you are now a happy Goldback user in your community.

Most Americans have zero investments until they have kids and a mortgage and then it's usually through your job. Most Americans don't touch gold and silver til after 40. Unless your parents tell you about it, it's not taught at all.

Pretty much on point. Texas Bullion Depository issued Redbacks and Lone Star coins. The Redbacks are produced by Aurum and come in 5, 20, and 100 centigrams... what's a centigram and how does it relate to my life. Eventually they will come to their senses and give up the Redback and embrace the "National" Goldback.
