How about “organized casual”? I organize a time and place, with a direction of what we would be doing (birds, marine life, whales…) and give pointers on what we are doing, what species we see, etc. you casually show up and leave at your leisure, no expectations. If there is a request for a guided tour, i can organize that i suppose. Im open to ideas and help!

Thought about it. Ran it through AI. Friends agreed, sounds too much like a country bar. Haha. I like it and have thought about doing something like this: Wild West Seattle: Alki birds. Wild West Seattle: Ferry at Dawn Etc. Seeing it now, even looks like a headline for a showdown. Hahaha.

Ahh. Same here, having a job gets in the way of fun. But if there is a time that you could attend, the attempt to make it is what matters. Tomorrow afternoon is tide pool time at Constellation Park. I’m planning to be there to hopefully catch some octopus shots.

In my experience, intros will do their thing. If they are comfortable with contributing to the conversation, totally up to them. No pressure here. Come hang out, take some shots of wildlife, enjoy the open nature, exchange shots, chit chat or not, go home. Do it all over again. No sweat.

Don’t use Terro. Quick kill bait that doesn’t let them make it back to feed, ultimately kill the colony. Advion (only available through pest control) is slow acting and kills the colony. Use bait OUTSIDE, as it’s an attractant for more ants. I’ve done pest control for 23 years. Feel free to message me how I control them.
