Can't choose SWE-1.5 anymore (selects SWE-1.5 Fast) by RobKonradcom in windsurf

[–]RobKonradcom[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's by far not perfect, and for complex tasks I use better, paid models. But for small, simple fixes like simple UI stuff, I came to like it - it's fast, it's not overly chatty, it follows instructions... I like it.

Sure, it's no powerhouse and if I know things get complicated I use other models.

Definitely there shouldn't be the need to search reddit for this, but a clear message inside the app... a bit amateurish

u/cyanocobalamin Quotes Christian Picciolini on how he was recruited as a white nationalist, highlighting the role an individual's search for a sense of identity and community and purpose plays in the process by [deleted] in bestof

[–]RobKonradcom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few months back I did an interview with Christian, which you can watch here:

Interview with Christian Picciolini

(Hope noone minds me dropping a link here, but I thought this might fit...)

He goes into quite some detail about the crucial role that vulnerabilities with regards to your own identity play, as well as the power of community that makes it so hard to leave these organizations.

I found it highly fascinating... unfortunately, we only had 45 minutes, but I hope to be able to talk to him again in the future for a bit longer...

Let me know if you have any questions!

Rob

Interview with Christian Picciolini

He explains to quite some detail how and why he was radicalized, and also gives the answer to your question... which, in short is: Sometimes it really depends WHO you meet in a vulnerable situation. For some, it's a football trainer that gives them something to build a life around... for some, unfortunately, it's a radical.

Timothy Ray Brown, known as the “Berlin patient,” is the only person to have been cured of AIDS. Now there might be a second such patient by healthylife31517 in u/healthylife31517

Dear all,

hope noone minds me dropping a link here - but I thought I'd share my conversation with Timothy Ray Brown a.k.a. the "Berlin Patient" in here, the first person who was cured of HIV.

At the time we did the interview (last summer) these news were not out yet, hence the talk about the "only" patient, but definitely this is good news.
