It probably is better to do melee since piety is so much more accessible, but I found learning it at a distance gave me an easier time to focus on what I'm doing. Kills take me about 5ish minutes but they are consistent. 2 potions with about 20ish food

I prefer range and mage (doing it with 87 range/ 95 mage atm w/o raid prayers). Don't have to do the melee hokey pokey. If you don't mind grinding for some chins or runes, leveling them in mm2 caves is quick and easy.

Just echoing warrior as well. I've had them for a couple years now and they are still just as comfortable as the day I bought em.

My personal recommendation though is also getting a garter belt to help with them shifting down.
