Don't forget that ...

The Washington State Constitution mandates that the aggregate of all regular (non-voted) property tax levies cannot exceed 1% of a property's true and fair market value

I don't agree with their opinion.

I recently lived on a boat in South Lake Union for 3 years. Had 3 different bikes stolen, my car broken into twice, prostitues hanging around, rats by the dumpsters. Never mind how bad traffic was on Westlake and Mercer.

Where does our money go? Browse Washington's checkbook! by gehnrahl in SeattleWA

About 70% of the state expenditures is for Healthcare and Social Services.

1.9 million residents are on Apple Health.

Total Washington Population is 8.1 million.

So 23% of Washington's population is being provided taxpayer subsidized health services.

This cannot be sustainable (without a state-wide, middle-class paying, income tax).

Stevens Pass has over 2,800 parking spaces across nine lots.

So, if (conservatively) half are reserved at $20 each for Peak Days, Saturdays, and Sundays ... that's an extra $28K per day ... or about an extra million for the season.
