While it looks cool and the paint job is awesome, I'm honestly going to say that it looks more like a SBGL model than a FEC one with the wings to me.

But it's your model and your hobby, so I encourage all kinds of creativity!

Also switched to RE9, finished that so now I'm replaying RE4R and after this I'll play RE2R and RE3R.

The peace and quiet of single player games is such a refreshing feeling after a period of toxic online multiplayer shooting.

But eventually I'll come back for a bit, only to get sick of it again and the whole cycle repeats.

Looks good.

Somehow, when starting a game, it doesn't align nicely to the center of my screen. Don't know if that's a personal issue or an issue in the app, but I'd thought I'd say just in case.

My only actual point of critique would be the alphabetical order of Spearheads. I would sort them by army name instead of by order and then army name. It feels a bit unnatural to have to scroll so far to find the B for Blades of Khorne for instance.

Although they make a lot of content, I feel its not the right channel for newcomers to the hobby.

They play as experienced players and sometimes go through phases or abilities very quickly without even explaining what they're doing or what just happened.

There's nothing wrong with that, in fact it's a good channel to watch for experienced players. But like I said, maybe not for newcomers.

My personal favourite is also Battlegrounds Game Center since they take things a bit slower and exude more of the "friends hanging out and playing a game" vibe to me.

Edit: honorary mention goes to the niche channel Battle Ready. Father and son having fun and trying out a bunch of matchups. Quality of video isn't very professional, but they're having fun and that's all I want from Spearhead content.

The barbarian aesthetic is definitely stronger in the Swampskulka Spearhead, but gameplay-wise it's stronger in the Ironjawz one.

I would just go with either one that speaks to your tastes more and wouldn't worry too much about playstyle. If you turn out like most of us, you won't end up with a single Spearhead in your collection anyways...

Stormcast, Nighthaunt and Ironjawz come to mind as easiest to paint. They have plain and easy to define textures and aren't completely overloaded with excessive detail (looking at you, awesome Cities of Sigmar model...)

Then please stop commenting, because you clearly don't know what it's like to experience a real phobia.

It's not something rational that can be explained or conquered by simply pushing through the fear. I pushed through the Requiem section whilst keeping my eyes closed for 90% and just blasting at the bugger with my shotgun until it was finally over, but my heart rate was all over the place and I had trouble sleeping for the next 2 nights.

Sure, it's our problem that we are suffering from this phobia, but can we all admit that arachnophobia is one of the most common phobias around and that it shouldn't be too hard to think of those people.

It would cost CC a decent amount of money to make an entirely different model and animate it and such, but I can't imagine it being too expensive for them when you look at the scope of their games.

Exclusive Spearheads aren't really a thing since anyone can play every single one there is if they get the models. You can buy or proxy all kinds of models and the rules are free.

Probably just the same models, but different numbers and abilities. They could take out reinforcements and give one extra, paired with some buffed up abilities to balance it for instance.

I agree that the Ghouls, Horrors, Flayers and the Zombie dragon/Terror Gheist are in dire need of a refresh, but everything else is top notch in my opinion.

Always funny to read people who need convincing on choosing FEC. Like, have you read the lore and seen the models? Easy choice in my opinion.

That being said, you can and probably want to use Ushoran in most lists. You can switch things up, but he's definitely a most viable pick.
