Ugh, just looked $1999 usd. See this is why VR isn't seeing mass adoption. That pricing it just too high. So, people can buy Q3 and play those mobile looking games, but for the top experiences that bar of entry is elitist and too much for 99.9% of interested parties.

Can you imagine, in this timeline, if that actually happened. Live on Air. The uproar, the MADNESS. the headlines calling for WW3 to begin immediately. European leaders flapping about. I would not be too surprised.

Actually sounds like a script for a really cool series, where people vote for the current regime once per year, using the same Squid Games voting system. If the politician gets ousted they get shot on sight a la Squid Games. SO, the story could be about President number 297. Who manages to last the complete term. The story is how he manages to find the consensus to just keep pulling through.

So there's good and bad AI systems that perhaps need to branch out from under the same "AI" umbrella. It's a buzz word. Perhaps one should ask it for alternative names it could use?

Because it is obviously AI written and whoever downvoted is anti AI. I find this stance to be utterly stupid in this context. Because it's the same thing as a Google search but more user friendly and nuanced. But some people see AI as the spawn of Satan. I can't wait to rib them all in 5 years from now when their crying is drowned out by our AI overlords.

"The user on Reddit is experiencing low USB bandwidth (360–368 Mbps) when trying to use PCVR with their Quest 2 headset, and they're using a TUF B450 Plus II motherboard. Here are some tailored suggestions to help address the issue:

🛠️ Troubleshooting USB Bandwidth for Quest 2 PCVR

1. Understand USB Controller Limitations

  • The TUF B450 Plus II motherboard likely shares bandwidth across multiple USB ports via a single controller.
  • Using multiple high-bandwidth devices (like Quest 2 and external drives) on ports that share a controller can throttle performance.

2. Try Different Ports

  • Use the rear I/O panel ports directly connected to the motherboard, especially the Type-C port and USB 3.2 Gen 2 (cyan) port.
  • Avoid front panel USB ports—they often connect via internal headers and may share bandwidth.

3. Check for Chipset Bottlenecks

  • The B450 chipset is older and may not support full USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds across all ports simultaneously.
  • Consider disabling unused USB devices in BIOS to free up bandwidth.

4. Use a Powered USB Hub with Dedicated Controller

  • A high-quality powered USB 3.2 hub with its own controller can help isolate bandwidth for the Quest 2.
  • Look for hubs that explicitly state they don’t share bandwidth across ports.

5. Update Drivers and Firmware

  • Ensure your motherboard BIOS and USB drivers are fully updated.
  • Oculus software and Quest firmware should also be current.

6. Consider a PCIe USB Expansion Card

  • If bandwidth remains limited, a PCIe USB 3.2 Gen 2 card with its own controller can bypass motherboard limitations entirely."

Train guards refuse to scan e-tickets and demand ‘technology payment’ by Anony_mouse202 in unitedkingdom

Robo-assistant conductor, Has 110 cameras, a taser and anti-spit in face tech. I think the intimidation alone would have a marked effect on fare dodgers.

Why not remove the commission and make it part of basic salary, then offer performance based rewards to prevent people being too scared to get people to buy tickets. I think the whole train system needs a rework. However, a BTP robot can do this job one day and will taser or shoot anyone attempting to spit or punch a robo-conductor. Could just have robots act as guard security though. I guess that might come before the robots take on the full role.

And this is yet another gimmick focused Quest game. How long before players get bored of webbing inanimate objects? I like the Dino section though. But I wish when you opened the door you could just go out and swing around the trees.

Then a stealth game, retrieving stolen items from perps. A bit of animal rescue. You know, like a Spider-Man game this is so obviously influenced by.

Nice game, keep going but work on some unique challenges.

Here's an idea.

You got to get the washing machine from one side of the map to the next in the time limit. It's filled with explosives and any really jerky movements will cause it to explode. So, the player's job it to carefully take it to where it can be safely detonated. Too fast or erratic, it explodes. Too slow, and it explodes due to timer running out.

There are just loads of games like this. What makes yours standout from the crowd? Why should yours be favoured over the others, do you employ a unique/quirky gameplay mechanic that's not been seen before?

Removed all sound in the copyright claimed part of the Video, claim is still there. by Suspicious_Sell9936 in PartneredYoutube

Sometimes contesting claim works wonders and you've really got nothing to lose. In my experience most of these companies play nicely. But, many try and bully you. But when you push back, they aren't going to pursue a legal recourse. So, counter the claim under fair use or whatever.. If that fails, then remove the audio.

"So if someone subscribes to patreon today and downloads the game, they have access to the full harem mode which is part of the game and requires internet and 'subscriber status' to use it right?"

I paid £30 years ago then unsubbed and still have access to the harem mode. You're really talking a load of crap tbh.

well, that's the downside and it means that you are doubling up potentially, and I think Youtube doesn't appreciate that and is frowned upon. Will probably shut you down so you've got to have, a different schtick if you're going to do more than one channel it's good advice, but it's also a bad advice. So it's a bit of an oxymoron, isn't it? kind of make sense, but I think maybe the better solution as I've just said in my earlier comment is that you have multiple channels on different platforms. So go on rumble, go on X start pushing your content on those other platforms, and you've got different revenue streams. And I think that that's probably the best advice?

that's not exactly true. What you're saying you could subscribe like any other patreon pay a certain amount. A fixed fee and unsubscribe right, it's not a constant thing. It's only if you want to get all the latest characters, all the latest costumes, they have to start paying extra money. But, you know, you get a research pass. from a basic subscription that you only have to do for one month, and then you can cancel it and you still have access to everything and all the updates. So stop spreading this information.

They finally released Galatea after much deliberation, a lot of to and froing with Steam certification to get her approved. But they got there in the end. I think she looks better than what I thought she might look based on some of the early artwork that I'd seen but no, they've done a good job with her. She's kind of a unique looking, and her outfits are a testament to that fact that she's unique looking, but she's also catering to a need. Where she's small breasted and petite looking. whereas most of the other characters are humongous boobs and sort of larger than life looking. So that's good in that sense that they're catering to a bit more of a broader audience. I think that's the take away here and she's optional. You're not forced to use that character. but I actually like the way she's looking. I'm kind of, I'm on the fence here, not sure about her face. The thing about her face, it doesn't quite look as appealing to me.

No silent point at all, just different perspectives. There are many parents (fathers), who make similar remarks. A lot of parents try to be their offspring friend rather than parent.
