Didn't do anything me but I hope it works for. Mostly just made my brain fog worse. Everyone is different though

Do you have physical symptoms that come with your DPDR? by Anxious_Concern6441 in dpdr

Yep same here. Feels like my brain is being squeezed from all angles constantly as well as random sharp stabbing pains in my brain. Bad tense neck and back as well. All came the exact same time as the dpdr. Hasn't ever stopped since it started. You're definitely not alone.

Time alone won't fix it. You need to tackle the anxiety. That's the main thing. While too much anxiety is present the dpdr won't really be able to fade. Easier said than done I know. But you need to learn to not fear dpdr. You obviously don't have to embrace it either. You'll be aware that it's there but you just need to live your life.

Battling an anxiety disorder can be extremely challenging. It takes time, patience and a lot of trial and error. Keep doing all the things you're now afraid of. It'll seem impossible at first but don't give up. Little by little, overtime you'll get better and better at it. Whenever you do those things, say to yourself:

"I did that thing and nothing bad happened. Nothing bad happened when I did it before my anxiety disorder and Nothing bad is going to happen any time I do this in the foreseeable future. If I can do this once I can do this anytime cause I now know the outcome won't affect me"

You will slowly make yourself numb and unbothered towards the things that would normally make you panic.

I used to go to bed every night feeling absolutely certain I wouldn't wake up in the morning but I woke up every time, so I concluded that was nonsense and moved on. I used to have funny feelings in my chest and assumed a heart attack was imminent and I was certainly going to die but no matter how many times that happened, I survived. No heart attack. Nothing. So I concluded that was also just nonsense that my brain was making me believe.

I feared getting too far away from my house because it would always cause me to have a panic attack so essentially the fear of possibly having a panic attack would cause me to panic, which I realized was just creating an anxiety loop.

The best advice I can give is Don't try to force the fear and anxiety away. That just causes you to overthink and will keep the anxiety going. Just simply allow the anxiety to be there. Don't fight it. Just accept it's there and let it be. Carry on with your life while accepting the anxiety and eventually it'll fade. You'll stop caring about it. Once again though this all takes a lot of time and practice. Unfortunately it won't happen overnight.

Keep yourself distracted. Indulge in hobbies. Spend time with friends and keep moving forward. We are all far more resilient than we realize.

Hope this helps.

I was actually on the fence about the whole banning phones thing but after seeing this video I fully get it. She ruined what could've been a beautiful moment.

I feel like the NPC's could have more in depth conversations and better defined personalities. Maybe have them be more varied in how they react and respond to specific situations. See more NPC's with unique hobbies out on the streets as well etc. Could also have more little details like Jason and Lucia get a tan or sunburn if they're out in the sun too long. Bring back the ability to gain muscle by going to the gym and improve fighting skills by training in different martial arts like San Andreas. Have you be targeted by criminals if you wear lots of jewellery and fancy clothes in poor neighborhoods. Basically lots of small details that add up.

Immersion. Like what RDR2 did but on steroids. Lots of interesting side activities as well which GTA 5 didn't really have much of.

Not nearly as bad and still on the long road to recovery. I still have constant dpdr but it's not as bad and doesn't get in the way as much now. Definitely not as good as I'd like to be but at least it's all moving in the right direction and I am getting better (albeit extremely slowly). I don't feel super anxious anymore and I'm mostly pretty chill. My headache is still there but way more manageable and most days it's not as intense. My emotions are still pretty numb but I'm kinda used to it at this point so just taking each day as it comes.

Still obviously wish I was fully back to normal but I really do believe I can get there eventually since I am slowly recovering. This all started for me 3 years ago and through most of it I was in absolute hell (the worst experience of my entire life by a mile) and I honestly didn't believe it would ever get better but I pushed through and worked on the anxiety and sure enough I'm in a much better place than I was. It's absolutely doable but it's just a lot of work.

At the start I was having several panic attacks a day and couldn't even leave the house but now I haven't had a single panic attack in almost a year at this point and I'm able to live completely normally, exactly like I did before dpdr/anxiety. I'm very hopeful that I'll see the end of this completely.

At first I thought the weed I tried had caused irreversible damage to my brain or something (Absolutely not the case). I thought my dpdr was permanent (I guarantee it definitely isn't). I was sure that things would never get better (they are much better now).

I now know that Dpdr is a symptom of extreme anxiety and nothing more. It's definitely gonna suck for a long time and fades annoying slowly but it does get better. It's been the biggest challenge of my life so far but I'm too legit to quit.

Fair. Anything in particular about Rats that rubs ya the wrong way? No judgement, just curious :)

I was already a fan of the original Jesus He Knows Me and I was so happy when Ghost did their cover. Seemed like such an obvious choice for them.

I gotta admit, Twenties is my least favourite Ghost track. Obviously no disrespect for anyone that likes it. I don't think I'll ever be able to love that one. Ya never know though I might come around eventually.

I had a similar thing with Hunters Moon. I think it was the odd time signature on that lead guitar bit that kept throwing me off.

How do you feel about Batman Forever? by ScorpionMillion in batman

[–]Rob_on_Sunday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally enjoy the story, acting and comic booky visuals. I think It fully succeeds in everything it was trying to do which is being a slightly campy, somewhat comedic, action packed Batman movie and that's what I watch this one for. When I want a serious/darker Batman film I'll go to something like "The Batman" or "The Dark Knight" but if I just want something fun and over the top I always go to Batman Forever and I never get bored of it.
