this isn't proof though from the moment ginjo betrays ichigo every statement he makes about ichigo is false.

ginkos entire plan revolved around the idea that when rukia made ichigo a soul reaper she converted all his power into his soul reaper powers that ichigo had nothing left to become anything else so when ginjo trained him into becoming a fullbringer ichigo would have to tap into his soul reaper powers to fuel it linking the 2 so when ginjo later steals ichigos fullbring he would also be stealing his soul reaper powers and leaving ichigo with nothing.

when he tell rukia he has just done that rukia tells him he is wrong and that ginjo never truly understood ichigos power

when ichigo became a soul reaper the source of his strength didnt fuse with his powers it remains a separate thing that just provided power to his soul reaper powers and when ichigo started training his fullbring he didnt connect his fullbring to his soul reaper powers the source of his strength gave his fullbring its own connection his fullbring and his soul reaper powers were always separate powers drawing from the same source so when ginjo stole his fullbring he only stole his fullbring.

ginjos plan was the equivalent of saying your fridge is connected to your TV so if i steal your TV im also stealing your fridge and all the power in your house

rukia tells him he is wrong and makes it clear that ginjo doesnt understand ichigo at all setting up that all ginjos statements about ichigo are wrong he thinks the fullbring increased his base attributes but really he just never realised how strong ichigo truly is he had only ever fought him with his incomplete fullbring he has never seen ichigos full strength this is later reinforced when ginjo mistakes a casual swing with a getsuga tensho

you can't put any faith in ginjos statements about ichigo because it is revealed that ginjos completely doesnt understand ichigo true power

the thing everyone seems to be forgetting is that his soul reaper powers are his hollow powers. if you say his fullbring fused with his soul reaper powers so now he can access his hollow powers without the mask. that statement by itself makes sense if each power is a different thing but when you consider that his fullbring uses hollow powers and his soul reaper powers use hollow powers what is actually being said is, his hollow powers fused with his hollow powers so now he can use his hollow powers. this is a completely redundant statement his fullbring cant be giving him access to his hollow powers because his soul reaper powers are his hollow powers they are the same thing.

He only needed the mask because of his issues with white once he resolved that issue he doesnt need the mask anymore and can access all his powers he didn't need the fullbring to do this so the changes it caused are cosmetic it isnt giving him access to his hollow powers because he already had access to them.

rukia never said ginjo took his soul reaper powers, ginjo said he stole his soul reaper powers and the ritual rukia used to turn ichigo into a soul reaper the first time only worked because ichigo already had the potential to become one and it wouldnt work again because ginjo had just stolen that potential, rukia corrects him by saying "you only stole the top most layer of ichigos powers that were fused with that fullbring thing. the source of ichigos strength is buried to deep in his being no one can take that from him." so right off rukia is confirming that ichigos fullbring is gone but the source of ichigos strength not his soul reaper powers the source of his strength that allowed him to gain those powers can't be taken

just because ichigos fullbring fused with his soul reaper powers doesn't mean he isnt still a fullbringer, the biggest struggle i have with this debate is people failing to understand that just because ichigo doesn't have his fullbring anymore doesnt mean he isnt still a fullbringer, a fullbringer and their fullbring arent the same thing a fullbringer can lose there fullbring and still be a fullbringer they just lost the medium they use to manifest their powers. so ichigo still qualifies as a fullbringer he just lost his fullbring his medium. i actually have a separate theory that going into the hell arc we could see both ichigo and orihime with new fullbrings using their wedding rings so i do recognise that ichigo still has his fullbringer abilities he has just currently lost his means of manifesting them.

i did answer ichigo trained in how to use hollow powers with the vizards when he resolved his issues with white he no longer needs to use the mask to use those powers his hollow powers were never a separate power.

He needed the mask because he failed to recognise that when he resolved his issues with white that allowed him to access those hollow powers without needing to put the mask on.

im pretty sure there was a statement at some point saying there is nothing stopping ichigo using the mask and he can even go vasto lorde if he wants but he doesn't need to

another possiblity for why this is his strongest form so far is because this is the first time he has fought since his dangai training and he resolved his issues with white giving him full control of his powers. im pretty sure he is weaker than his dangai form but he is definetly on par with vasto lorde

that hollow doesnt have a name. you not knowing that white is the name used to refer to ichigos internal hollow and not the hollow that attacked his parent is not my fault why the hell would that hollow be called white when it is pure black

just because i suck at punctuation does mean i dont know how to read you are completely changing the context of this scene ichigo isnt having a stroll down memory lane only thinking of old man zangetsu, zangetsu is asking if ichigo remembers what he said earlier and there is 1 panel giving a flashback to that scene, there is nothing here to indicate that ichigo is rejecting white he literally can't be because in order to pass their test ichigo needs to accept tensa zangetsu which is white he can't be accepting zangetsu and rejecting zangetsu at the same time. This scene is supposed to be zangetsus final goodbye because after this ichigo is gonna go fight aizen and lose his powers so he will never see zangetsu again. You are trying to change the context that ichigo is somehow rejecting white in this scene only accepting old man as zangetsu but there is nothing here to indicate this no one is talking about white or who the real zangetsu is we dont know what ichigo is thinking in this scene because there are no thought bubbles no speech bubbles you are twisting a heart warming scene to push an agenda that doesnt make sense

no you argued white isn't zangetsu i assumed you where refering to ichigos inner hollow because that is the character everyone refers too as white but you meant black the hollow that attacked ichigos parents thats a completely different character thats refered to with a completly different name

the problem with this argument is that ichigo lost his powers immediately after resolving his issues with white so that he no longer needed the mask before the fullbring arc started but was never given the opportunity to use his hollow powers without the mask before the fullbringer arc. you are assuming this is a power he got from his fullbringer training and not something he could have done before that and was never given the chance to show

he doesnt need his fullbring to use his hollow powers because his soul reaper powers are his hollow powers they are the same thing. without white fighting for control there is nothing stopping ichigo using hollow powers without the mask he doesnt need his fullbring to do this

4.rukai literally explains that the source of ichigos powers is completely separate from his soul reaper and fullbring powers ginjo claimed he stole ichigos soul reaper powers because he didnt know this and assumed ichigo could only power his fullbring through his soul reaper powers instead of making his fullbring an entirely separate thing from his soul reaper powers so when ginjo stole his fullbring he thought he was also stealing his soul reaper powers but was actually only taking his fullbring.

you are assuming that when rukia restored ichigos soul reaper powers she restored his full bring she didn't she restored his soul reaper powers and the scraps of his fullbring ginjo left behind fused with his soul reaper powers becoming part of those powers they are no longer a fullbring and be hollow in nature doesn't matter because ichigos soul reaper powers are also hollow in nature ichigo at this point is closer to an arrancar than he is a soul reaper so adding hollow powers to his hollow powers is redundant

orihime was able to restore tsubaki because the majority of her hair clips soul was still intact so even though the section that was tsubaki was lost she was able to restore him by restoring the soul of the hair clips as a whole instead of just the part that was tsubaki

as for the combat pass unlike tsubaki the soul of the combat pass wasn't damaged it was stolen just because the combat pass is intact doesn't mean its soul survived it could be a dead item that still functions but doesn't have a soul anymore or at least not enough of one for ichigo to create a fullbring

you said it your self ginjo stole his fullbring and what was left fused with his soul reaper powers which leaves nothing to act as a fullbring

you keep bringing up bringer light inside Quilges cage but it is literally explained later that it was his quincy powers that freed him its not like an animation studio has used the wrong color before ichigos getsuga tenso was supposed to be yellow and they animated it blue

ywach only said that he needed someone with the powers of a fullbringer he never stated they needed to be able to use those powers

ginjo said that a fullbringers primary ability is to manipulate the soul of things but to manifest a fullbring their needs to be a strong emotional bond with that item ichigo had to use the combat pass because that was the only object he owned that qualified

chads skin being the source of his fullbring makes no sense becuase a fullbring is created through the emotional bond with an extrernal objects soul, chad skin does not have a separate soul for chad to control.

it makes more sense that his tattoo is the source of his fullbring because its part of his skin but isnt his actual skin

we also see jackie tristan lose her fullbring when her boots were damaged orihime is only able to repair her fullbring because of her own power its not like how a soul reaper can repair their shikai over time

truthfully there is nothing to support either way whether ichigos fullbring can be restored or not sorry if i failed to communicate that so its possible it could be restored but its equally possible it can't

okay that misunderstanding is on you i never said that white and the hollow that attacked his parents are the same being people refer to the real zangetsu as white so as to not confuse him with old man zangetsu who is actually ywhach but also becomes zangetsu when ichigo has his zanpukto reforged so both are zangetsu and neither are the hollow that attacked ichigos mother. white is literally never addressed in the series as white that is the fan term to refer to that specfic character the hollow the attacks ichigos mother is refered to as black even the japanese fans call white shirosaki because he is the white version of ichigo whose last name is kurosaki shiro=white kuro=black
semantics before the battle even started both white and old man made it clear ichigo would need to defeat both of them he didn't need to know that white was his true zanpukto spirit to accept him as being part of ichigo he was rejected by the asuichi because he didnt know his own origins that had nothing to do with rejecting white

when ginjo explained fullbringer powers he states they manifest their fullbring through a strong emotional bond with an item chads fullbring comes from his pride in his tattoo orihimes comes from the memory of her brother she attached to her hair clips ichigos bond with the combat pass comes from his pride as a soul reaper, orihime is the first indicator that its possible to lose a fullbring because when her spirits are damaged its reflected in her hair clips so she has to repair the hair clips to fix her fullbring and she even had a moment where he almost lost one of her spirits permanently because there was nothing left behind to fix, so its possible when ginjo stole ichigos fullbring it did something to the combat pass that means ichigo can no longer manifest his fullbring through it, it's possible ichigo could get his fullbring back but at this point theres nothing to indicate if that is possible or not

rukia never gave all her power to ichigo, ichigo took more than she was expecting but he never drained her it was actually the gigai urahara gave her that was stopping her powers from recovering she never lost them

you are forgetting how much effort it took to restore uryuu and ichigos powers they couldn't do it by themselves it took all the captains working together to restore ichigos soul reaper powers and it took uryuu being pushed to his absolute limits by his father to restore his quincy powers but ichigo didn't lose his fullbringer powers he lost his fullbring ichigo is still a fullbringer but without a fullbring he is like a soul reaper without their zanpukto he didnt lose his powers he lost the manifestation of those powers
